  1. Pitchleague's wife is hammytime. BSCR's wife is Turtle Race ist. And it is indeed brewermary15 who's married to brewerjamie15.
  2. I think it's safe to say, that if we can win this series, all the stars are aligned and it's our year to shine! We NEVER win in Houston. Without wanting to come off as a major pessimist, I'd like to see the Brewers handle a 4-game series with PIT first. How many time has that been their downfall? It just so happens that they host the scurvy cur Pirates for four games May 3-6. Their 4 game trip to PIT is July 2-5. But go Brewers tonight, too. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  3. So will Kate start to root, root, root for the Brewers if she wins? Or make an appearance at a bf.net function?
  4. You can say "dude." In grad school we determined that 'dude' is gender-neutral.
  5. I think Peavey is pumped up for the NFL draft.
  6. It's OK. If you guys think I'm one of the guys, it makes me feel that much more like I belong...or something. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  7. Hey Jamie, when do you and the family head south? Yeah, I guess that's a thread hijack. But you don't have to scroll down like a foot to get past this post. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  8. Well...Corey is not living up to my lofty Woodman's-fueled expectations tonight. I think it's because he didn't start.
  9. I hope the Cardinals and Cubs finish every game with a scorelss tie, with each team having at least 15 LOB each game. While three scoreless ties would be pretty sweet, I'd be satisfied with three extra inning marathons that leave STL mentally and physically exhausted. Also tonight, Doug "Sharpie" Davis tries to improve on his 1-2 decision record, 3.27 ERA and 14/17 BB/K ratio, as Arizona hosts Barry Zito, that other Barry, and the Giants.
  10. Sorry. I included the smiley above to indicate that I'm kidding. Don't stop asking questions.
  11. I can see it now... BrewCrewin2004 The Poster Who Asked Too Many Questions http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  12. At Woodman's West in Madison this afternoon, they played "Never Surrender" while I was there. It was the highlight of my shopping trip. I believe this is a sign that Corey will have a big night. Fortunately, the splits indicate that he should be in the lineup.
  13. I've experienced the same thing. I noticed it around the same time I noticed animated Google ads at the bottom of the page - which would presumably load more slowly on our dialup connection. Today at the library it was especially slow, but so was Gameday.
  14. If I'm going to fight a deer, I need to wear Right Guard or I will smell. If you are going to force me to watch commercials, can you at least mix it up? Not to mention, does it have to be before every single clip? If I want to watch the video clips of Prince's home run, JJ flashing the leather and Geoff's amazing catch - from the same game, all in one browsing session - I shouldn't have to watch the unsweaty deer fight three times. Once is vexing enough. Also, I've long referred to Ben Sheets as Golden Ben (as in gold medalist). I suggested that on this site once but it didn't catch on.
  15. This kind of mirrors the Cubs series in Milwaukee. The visitors roll through the first two games, then stumble in the third. The Brewers arguably rebounded from the two losses a couple of weeks ago, so there's no obvious reason to assume they can't rebound again. (Pending a Sheets update, I know. But there is more depth this year. Remember the depth.)
  16. Does anyone have live audio access? Do Bob and/or Jim sound panicked over Sheets? or is that our job? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif Stupid cold and wet weather.
  17. I could tell right away that the game must have resumed...because the chat room is chock full, again. Yeah, well, we outsiders will have our own fun.
  18. Sheets hasnt been inspiring this year much past his opening day start. It would suck quite a bit if Opening Day proved to be his 2007 peak.
  19. Well, the Brewers certainly have momentum right now, so it would be nice to not have the schedule interrupted again. Plus check out Graffanino v. Lilly in the splits. How often does that happen? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif I brought one of our Brewers umbrellas to work today, so rainout or no, I'm showing my team love.
  20. Fun rocks. True dat, Todd. This is the good part of the rollercoaster and let's enjoy it.
  21. That's the ticket. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  22. I believe this will equal up the all time series at 72-72. If the game ends in Milwaukee's favor, you are correct. I don't want to anger the baseball gods. We know they hang out at Wrigley.
  23. Hee hee, Uecker said "Chad Cordero" (instead of Francisco) was warming up in the Brewers' bullpen. Freudian slip?
  24. Could you not let them back in, please?
