  1. Good question. Multi-layered for me. Before all this I ALREADY didn't like going places like Wal-Mart or Dollar Tree, where patrons seem to have a pointed lack of respect for others' personal space, and reach across others or stand within 1.2 centimeters of other people. There are times where we'd need to run to the store, and see a full parking lot and my wife would say "uhhhh, you stay in the car". GOOD CALL. Also, I just had a heart cath, so I'm now in the "high risk" group, so staying away from people in general is probably a good idea for me, so I'll be social distancing for a while, even if things open up. If anyone who has been going and protesting at the capitol gets within 6 feet of me, they're getting crane kicked like Johnny from Karate Kid.
  2. I agree with this, to some degree. I still don't like taking a 5/6 round tight end in the 3rd, and as much as some love the Dillon pick, I'm just coming away from this super deep class of WR's disappointed that we didn't snag a single one, when that was pretty clearly one of the team's biggest most pressing needs.
  3. They got bullied by the 9ers twice and maybe they're overreacting to that. That's what it seems like. Maybe? I don't know.
  4. Im not going to watch Tiger King not because everyone is watching it, but because Im familiar with the news and story around it and its not compelling to me.
  5. I wouldnt do much. I would have a hard time staying away from the softball diamond or hockey rink though. I wouldnt go to restaurants and that. Our softball league got cancelled for the year. Of course I would have been unable to play this year.
  6. reach reach reach.....
  7. Raiders Raidering and taking all the WR's
  8. Was Dillon the bpa?
  9. So. ...... um...... what?
  10. Why these kids all choose to go to Alabama, where they are going to compete with 8 other 5-star athletes for playing time, is anyone's guess. I mean mix it up a little bit! If you're good enough, you get on the field. And if you get on the field, you're sure-fire going to the NFL. If you're not good enough, you transfer somewhere else and start. Playing for a guy like Saban brings out the best in a lot of players.
  11. Gut call. Miami is going to take Mims. I don't know why I think that. Call it a hunch.
  12. Hundley doesn't have half of Jordan Love's arm strength. There's so many variables to think about with this pic. Right now the one thing that's true is nobody's opinion is right or wrong. I'm not a huge fan of trading out of the 4th to get Jordan love. I don't hate the pic I just hate giving up a pic to get him. I definitely get the difference in the philosophy between BPA and immediate need and I think there needs to be a fine balance between the two. I think the people that have convinced themselves that there's a big gap between us and the Niners believe that the immediate need players won't make up that gap. Niners could suffer three or four injuries in training camp and suddenly be a 9-7 team.
  13. I don't hate Jordan Love. I don't like that he's not an overly accurate passer. I like the big arm. I don't like trading out of the 4th round to get him, when there's a lot of holes to fill. I also understand that a 4th round guy is not likely to be a difference maker, but then again, it might be. In a vacuum, I don't hate the move, I just find it more of a headscratcher, and I certainly don't love it. This is definitely going to be one of those "we won't know for a while" type picks.
  14. The concerning thing about that pic is, whether or not the deucer is in the background, or in a mirror, they don't appear to close the door when they dump in the Vrabel household. And TBH, knowing that is gonna keep me awake for a while tonight.
  15. I don't think you draft backup QB's in the first round though, do you? Well, they did in 2005. Worked out ok. That team had a pretty solid corps of offensive skill position players to build around, and didn't have a ton of holes to fill, and Favre was already flirting with the will he/won't he retirement. Rodgers says he plans to play 3-4 more years. This team has Adams and... not much. I'm not against Jordan Love. The positioning and timing of it seems off. Considering the other needs. Maybe Gute will knock every other pick out of the park. We'll see.

  17. It's not talent! It's scheme! And coaching and stuff!
  18. It's Washington. I expected them to do something really dumb.
  19. If I buy a product from you, and you can't deliver that product, or a reasonable facsimile of that product in a reasonable time frame, it's up to you to refund my money, right? Recall some of those employees. Work from home shouldn't be that hard to implement given enough time.
  20. I don't know what the exact wording is on the tickets, but I think it's one thing to say "hey this game is delayed/rained out/whatever, and you can get a ticket for a game later this season", but at this point there are hundreds, if not thousands of games that won't be played, period and telling people "you're gonna get a ticket for a game next year instead" doesn't really seem ok. People move. Plans change. They may have vacations next summer, or new jobs, or whatever. At SOME point teams are just gonna have to bite the bullet and give people their money back. There's no way around it. They can't just hold onto this money indefinitely.
  21. Availability of supplies is a big reason. Both silver and Manfred have stated they will not divert supplies for medical professionals until there is a sufficient Supply to treat health professionals and the public There was an article on ESPN that said each soccer match would have 200 people. When you count the players the coaching staff the medical personnel the training staff the audio and video people the camera the referees and everyone else that is in the stadium. Security oh, everyone else that is in the stadium to make that match happen. We would have a similar amount of people in a stadium for a baseball or a football game. The amount of people isn't the problem it's the amount of testing they're still going to have to do. If you have 200 people times even 12 games. How many tests a week is each person going to take? The tests aren't there yet. In an ideal scenario these guys could get tested once a week or twice a week or every day but the availability of the test is not there. And two Commissioners have said that it would be irresponsible of their leagues to divert resources. That could change in the coming weeks but until then I think we have to defer to the guys that say this is how it is.

  23. Why anyone would be concerned with harming the "reputation" of these guys is beyond me. Wow. 5 minutes of reading tells you all you need to know about this company. Their reputation preceeds itself.
