  1. The nice thing about a lot of RISP opportunities, is that in a game like this - you only need to get lucky once. The Crew got lucky. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/happy.gif
  2. Jenks with a couple great catches. Gold Glove! Gold Glove! Gold Glove!
  3. Tied. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  4. And Sharpie provides a 1-2-3 inning - so far, the gamble pays off.
  5. He worked the count... and when it gets to a ten-pitch Ab, it's a matter of who is luckier, the hitter or the pitcher. In that one, Patterson just got lucky.
  6. Only 94 pitches... doing well outside a gopher ball... Why not let him go through the 6th?
  7. Sharpie with another pickoff... Lucky the ump didn't call it a balk. Guess that step to the plate gets `em every time. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  8. If the Crew's going to only get five or six hits and a couple of walks... can't they at least get them in the same inning?
  9. I'll take an opposite-field single to score Brady... WHY IS RICKIE SHOWING BUNT??? EDIT: Rickie can pull it if he wants. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  10. X ellence why would we want o deal a SS who could hit? I know the Crew has JJ Hardy, but why not use E. Cruz as a utility player?
  11. gregmag He's also kinda young for AAA (23, IIRC). Two years older than Prince, and with plenty of options left.
  12. His WHIP is just under 1.00 Who cares about strikeouts? He's just efficiently dominating the hitters. And he doesn't give up gopher balls, either. He'll be fine. Heck, I think he and Villanueva could be aces down the road.
  13. All tied up... let's see if Vampire can pitch well in a day game for once...
  14. Vampire in a day game?!!!! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eek.gif *sigh* And the series started off well...
  15. Justin Lehr... could he be an option as a bottom-of-the-rotation starter?
  16. Sheets back on track... now it's time for Cappy to come through tomorrow.
  17. And why put Ricky Bottalico in to put out a fire when he's been regularly lit up?
  18. Bottalico's the one who got rocked in the 7th instead of closing the door.
  19. Well, Krynzel's sure showing some fire... didn't need the suspension, though...
  20. If Lee has to miss time, the answer is simple: Overbay in left, Fielder at first.
  21. I expect to see the Crew come out on the short end of this one... Redman's had our number this year.
  22. [after Carlos Lee's SECOND of the day) "Oops, Lee did it again..."
  23. Not Bottalico... ANYONE BUT HIM!!!! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/sick.gif
  24. Yeah, it's Mike Maddux's turn to feel frustrated today...
