Given their conduct with regards to Ben Sheets, I call Red Sox fans vultures... I only wish the Crew could also deliver a thrashing in a series to them this year... guess the Crew will have to make the World Series for that to happen.

Is Braun a risk? Yes. But then again, so were Rickie Weeks and Prince Fielder. Any complaints about those two picks?

He was not much offensively, but a career .987 fielding percentage and a career range facotr of 4.76 aren't shabby.

Scrubs get Kyle Reynolds... Wouldn't object to Lil' Weeks, though. Maybe it could be the Brewers' version of the Ripken-Ripken DP combo of the late 80s/early 90s.

If Braun has to more to the OF, then Gamel would be an option at third. Makes sense, and who knows what else Gamel might be able to do?

Matthew Gamel - a JC 3B, but he bats lefty.

Pretty good curve, plus a change-up and splitter. I'll say this much: At least he can provide for a while, and he's young. Wrost-case, he'll be a decent reliever.

Third round... I'd guess in the low-to-mid-70s. And did anyone see the stuff on Braun? Had trouble with a wood bat in the Cape Cod league... I'm beginning to wonder if the Crew isn't looking at a right-handed Antone Williamson.
