  1. From the game article on Yahoo: Baseball's other no-hit losers were Andy Hawkins of the Yankees in 1990, Steve Barber and Stu Miller of Baltimore in 1967, and Ken Johnson of Houston in 1964.
  2. I'm sure they're also considering the video capabilities of some digital cameras these days and the artists don't want their performances taped.
  3. Victor Santos on the mound in that ad. Guess he's joining Tiger on the Gatorade payroll.
  4. Found this: General Rules:Persons entering the facility may be subject to search for contraband, cameras, video equipment and recording devices which are expressly forbidden on facility premises and subject to confiscation. No backpacks, large bags or other carry-ins, glass, bottles, cans, wagons, in-line skates, skateboards, kites, frisbees, lawn chairs, laser pointers, pets, alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, weapons, or objects that could be used as weapons. No strollers or umbrellas allowed in amphitheater. MWF reserves the right to alter carry-in policies at any time.
  5. Royals were looking to come back but had a runner thrown out at the plate on the same play they scored their only run.
  6. Nice win tonight. Too bad for Twins fans, they were so close to free Webb burgers.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif
  7. Sorry that I haven't read the whole thread, but has Jefferson commented yet on the trade to the Bucks?
  8. Great job, Manny. He's gotta be done at about 110 pitches.
  9. 63 MPH on that last fosh ball from Hernandez.
  10. That's the Bill Hall I used to love. The one who had a nice light swing and went to RF. Now bury these guys...remember last night.
  11. They stranded Lee after a leadoff double...very nice.
  12. In regards to traffic lights/separation..... If you're gonna be getting there 3 hours early, you can probably pull off to the side once you enter the lot in case someone gets separated and then all of the cars can head up to the spots. I've seen people do this before and I'm sure it's not a big deal to the parking attendants because you're so early.
  13. How about the Pettit Center at State Fair Park? Plenty of room to meet and only a few miles from MIller Park.
  14. From madison.com: The state plans to reopen today the westbound lanes of Interstate 94 near Johnson Creek that had been closed due to flooding. The westbound portion of I-94 between Madison and Milwaukee has been closed for more than two weeks as motorists had to use a temporary crossover to travel into the eastbound lanes. State Department of Transportation bridge inspectors inspected the westbound bridges and deemed them safe for travel. The reopening will re-establish two lanes of westbound traffic. Eastbound traffic will continue to be restricted to one lane along a five-mile stretch between Johnson Creek and Lake Mills until WisDOT completes the work to change that segment from handling two-way traffic back to providing two lanes of eastbound traffic. That work is expected to occur through much of the day Friday, depending on the weather. Motorists traveling along the eastbound corridor are asked to slow down, pay attention and expect some traffic delays in the work zone. The temporary crossovers will be blocked off, but will be preserved in case they are needed again in the future.
  15. Alright, this list needs some metal already..... The Formation of Damnation by Testament. Just yesterday, I picked up: http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41nJZRvkwSL._SL500_AA240_.jpg Yep, The Crue. Fresh off of their appearance on Larry King last week, the new album was released yesterday. Rip away....
  16. Well, I guess someone's gotta not care. I'm with the rest of you, hate the Cubs.
  17. Just going through some of my stuff today and found my Brewers chalet bank and snow globe. I remember hearing the chalet banks can be worth a bit, but how about a snow globe (still in the box)? Not really looking to move them, just curious as to what they're worth. I've got a whole rubbermaid tote full of stuff like this, I'll have to go through it some more tomorrow. I'm pretty sure I saw some older (3-5 years ago) bobbleheads in there as well.
  18. No complaints...I'm on vacation right now. Backup, you own your own business?
  19. Is it really that tough to type the "yo" in front of the "u"? Sorry, that sounded English major-ish.
  20. You sure, Brian? Hey RLuz, can we get a stat on the chances of us managing to cope?
  21. Greatest game ever. Seriously. As for the name, ripping off Larry Bird (before a 3 point contest): Who's finishing second?
  22. Beer with beer. One in the left hand, one in the right. Actually, beer with anything.
