    From Foreigner's website: Band members include Mick Jones, Jason Bonham, Kelly Hansen, Jeff Jacobs, Jeff Pilson and Thom Gimbel. After reading this, I may have to go see Foreigner. They've got 3 hair metal guys in the lineup: Jason Bonham- Obviously, John Bonham's kid, but he also had his own band called Bonham that released two albums. Jeff Pilson- Member of Dokken for many years. Kelly Hansen- Lead singer of Hurricane, who had two major label releases. This probably doesn't mean anything to anyone else, but it surprised me.

    BTW,i can't believe Asia is actually still a band and getting gigs.You look around at popular current music of today and alot of these crappy 80's bands could outdraw them in concert i bet.Pretty strange to me how the majority of big selling concert acts are older bands or older solo acts. Hey, I grew up on 80s hair and metal and I'm still a fan today. I know you'd rather not see Bon Jovi or any other of these "crappy" bands, but I would. People like me are an awesome demographic for those bands today. We are fans from back in the day and still love the music. More importantly, we now have money and are willing to spend it on tickets and CDs. These bands, for the most part, aren't gonna strike it rich ever again. They're lifelong musicians out on the road earning a living, some better than others. As long as there are booking agents willing to put them on the bill, they'll be out playing--what else are they gonna do? This is all they've ever done, and luckily for them, there's a bit of a rebirth of the scene.

    I just went and checked it out, Casey. I'm registered and it's working. The secondary link they provided got me registered.

    I did get a message in my email from them with a link to follow to complete the registration and got the same error. They had also supplied a second link to follow if the first didn't work and I think that one took. I haven't tried to log back in yet. I want to say it was a 404 error? The error was shown on a Yuku page, if that helps.

    If you'd like, you can migrate your profile early. The main benefit that I can see is that you'd have the ability to post under your current ID on Yuku boards. Just tried this and got an error message from Yuku. Followed all the steps, clicked on the button and error. Has anyone else had this occur?

    Heck, I mentioned buying that Mayer album in September in this thread and no one said a thing. Blazer thought he'd get "skewered" and you stated you may "catch some flak" for mentioning John Mayer. It's funny you both had similar thoughts on the reaction of the board.

    There shouldn't be any popups here... Is anyone else getting them? I am also getting the Vonage pop-up every time I log into the site. I'm at home and using Firefox.

    However, I did not realize 100.5 FM was a sports radio station in Madison That's because the signal only goes about 10 miles in each direction. The only thing that station is good for is the live broadcasts of national games. If you're interested, they air Bob & Brian, The D-List, Szaban and some local stuff too.

    Back to bugging..... People who throw hissy-fits at the cashier when a price is perceived to be wrong. It's not the cashier's fault, you know. If you point it out, they can call for pricing assistance. Also, all of these stores have those little electronic readers everywhere, so if you're concerned about a certain item, you can verify it while shopping.

    Along the sports talk radio line...the fact that Madison is getting another sports talk radio station. We already have 1070 AM, soon we are getting 92.1 FM as well. Milwaukee can hardly support 2 sports talk radio stations. How can Madison support 2? Yeah, people can talk about the Badgers, but man...even the most die hard fans can't listen to Badger talk constantly. 92.1 is Air America right now, but they can't get enough sponsors from what I've heard. So, now they ClearChannel will expand on their sports talk by adding Fox. I heard Rome will now be on Fox so they can expand The Herd and broadcast Dan Patrick live instead of on 2 hour delay. They also said they can add more high school sports. Personally, I'm cool with this because I don't like the local program director on ESPN, he's always ruining the weekends with car racing (on the radio??). Actually, he's the reason I got XM.

    I agree with everything DatHoser said about 8 posts up. I was griping about those silhouettes a few months ago in my fantasy league and now they're everywhere. To make it worse, they seem to add new ones everyday. There's also one where a tattoo appears to be given to the underside of a forearm and the scrit has something to do w/mortgages. Give me a break. Most Wonderful time of the year? What's so wonderful about constant traffic, crowds no matter where I go and that song playing...again? Yep, I'm a scrooge.
