    I saw a tidbit recently on chron.com (not sure if it was Justice or another writer) that talked about getting text messages from players complaining about Coop after a game. Firing the manager certainly doesn't solve their problems, but if the players are doing that kind of hit job, it's probably better for all parties to part ways.

    I'm all for emotion and passion, but there's a large difference between that and the temper tantrum Zambrano threw in this instance.

    From what I've observed, most people who have a lot of extras, come in with several terrace seats. You'll see people leave with a bag full of bobbles. I went with a friend to a bobble day two seasons ago where he had purchased some 10 seat deal in the terrace, that came with vouchers for hot dogs and sodas. He got 8 bobbles that day. Also, after the game there are at least two people I always see, standing outside offering people $5-$10 for their bobbles and they seem to get a lot of takers.

    TooLiveBrew, The Ultimate Warrior used to do a dead sprint to the ring, and he was very high energy when he got in there. Edit: D'oh, already answered.

But Zambrano little elbow shove will still get him the suspension regardless.

    You know, the annoying part is going to be ESPN and the media talking about how the Cubs are 28-13 or whatever "since Zambrano's outburst" the rest of the season. Let's just hope they don't have a winning streak in them right now. Fortunately they're playing the Dodgers this weekend.

    ESPN has a small bit of it. It doesn't include the ball throwing, or the glove throwing, or the Gatorade abuse, but it does show Z tossing the ump out of the game.

    Apparently Z also motioned that he ejected the ump from the game. NSBB feels that the ump made first contact. Here's the thread on NSBB.

    Parra faired pretty well I think. Hopefully he doesn't take the collar in this one. In my opinion, he has a bit of the Capuano syndrome going on, in that he's pitched better than his record reflects, not that he's not without his awful outings.

    Nobody outside of the Brewers coaching staff understands not pinch hitting for Kendall in those situations.

    Braun hasn't gotten the ball out of the infield today. Maybe he should have gotten the extra day off?

    Wellemeyer is at 33 after two, and we haven't even threatened. Of course, Prince took almost a third of those pitches. I can't believe the Cards announcers are still on about that. Especially since they haven't had to see it in this series.

    Was that two games in a row of Braun and Cameron not sharing the field well? Gameday says the fly was to Braun, but went off Cam's glove?
