  1. I don't find the shirt itself to be anything nasty, but I do think it's a strange marketing choice for the MLB. These types of products are best left to the people who started them, not the MLB. Disparging your own brands could get out of hand.
  2. If you ended up with an extra turborickey, I can still trade you the Soup. I can't make the Kendall weekend, as it's our anniversary weekend, but the Melvin weekend is open for me at the moment too, so I could hit that one as well.
  3. That at least seemed to treat you seriously for once and explain the situation.
  4. True, the NFL still has this problem, but they just make some plays unchallengable, which often begs the question then why the refs don't call some plays in a fashion that can be challenged instead. Instant replay isn't perfect in the NFL either.
  5. I don't think it'll merit any national controversy, especially to the tune of changing the replay rules. And honestly, despite being burned by the human elements of the game, I'm on the side of not making everything replay worthy.
  6. The guys on MLB Network thought for a second that you could look at that with instant replay, but were quickly corrected.
  7. I have tickets to the Suppan game already, but can't make the Braun game as it's our sons' first birthday that day. I'll gladly trade you a Suppan for the Braun.
  8. MLB Network is partially owned by Direct TV. The odds of it getting on Dish would seem low to me, but I don't know any specifics.
  9. I looked last night in my guide and didn't see it, I think it was Woman's Softball or something. I don't know if FSN is doing that this year, which is to bad.
  10. I was keeping my eye on one. They were respectful to Yo.
  11. According to Gameday that called second strike to LaRoche was the worst pitch he saw, nowhere close. I'll take it though! Thank you Villy! Back above .500!
  12. I remember when I used to be excited Villy was coming in. Let's go Villy.
  13. If the choice is between Villy trying to save it again and Yo, I'm choosing Yo.
  14. That reminds me of this story; A few years ago I had a set of 4 free tickets a few rows behind the Brewers dugout, but I could only find one person to go with me. So I gave away the other two tickets to a guy who was waiting to buy tickets, figured I didn't pay for them, and maybe I'd get a free beer or two as thanks later on. But a couple of innings in, someone else came and sat next to me. The dude turned around and sold them to someone else for $35/ticket. Wish I could have gone today. If I Monday and Tuesday hadn't gone so poorly work wise, I would have. Oh well. Cool of you as usual Pedro.
  15. He untucked coming around third on the slam. This was Braun heading to first; http://nbcsportsmedia.msnbc.com/j/ap/d3d936fc-b1f2-4988-9f27-e1d5da7dc71a.h2.jpg This was Braun coming around third; http://i2.cdn.turner.com/si/2008/writers/david_sabino/09/30/sabino.digits/ryan-braun-ap2.jpg Personally I don't think he did anything wrong in that. If it was done in May, okay, sure, but the magnitude of that was huge. I was at that game (thanks brewerjamie and Eric Gagne) and everyone was going nuts in the stands, I didn't even really see the celebration on the field until I got home.
  16. I normally have High Life in the parking lot, and in the stadium. Sometimes I bring New Glarus or Buffalo Water instead, so still Wisconsin and/or Milwaukee.
  17. Ya, but he deserved what he got from the Astros. That was the "pimp walk" homer I believe. Everyone knew he was getting plunked in the next series for that. He did and that was the end of it. I don't think the two situations are comparable.
  18. I think they're in Section 107, but I'm not positive on that at the moment. They are in that area though. They were purchased through the Brewerfan ticket offer, but now they can't be used. If anyone is interested, please let me know. Cost is what was paid through the offer.
  19. I paused the episode and gave you an honorable mention when it happened!
  20. Gameday says Blanton loves to face a Four Seam Fastball and he hates to face a Four Seam Fastball. Joe Blanton is a complex man.
  21. I was pretty addicted to Travian last year, so I've ignored all calls to join Mafia Wars. I think I probably made the right call. Seems like it would be addictive in much the same way.
  22. First, thanks to Ennder for the perspective! I don't think an eruption does much but make us feel better, but I am on the side of the fence, that people need pulled aside from time to time, to get re-focused. They may be major leaguers, but that doesn't mean they don't go through mental lapses like anyone else. I know what I need to do in my line of work every day, but I'm not always focused enough to be doing the best job I can, and it sometimes takes an event to trigger that internal cleansing.
  23. Wow, I really didn't expect an article of that much absurdity when I clicked the link. I kind of forgot Stan Kasten was the president over there. He was pretty respected in Atlanta, but that ship is just embarrassing.
