Not really, Fielder' 2011 salary is likely already penciled in. The big issue is would you take Oswalt at that salary? Its close but he projects as a 3 win pitcher or so next year. -
Yeah, he's a platoon DH and really there are a bunch of those. Should he be on the Royals? Probably. On the Brewers? Not really.

No they don't so you could consider their FIPS about the same, but as the xFIP shows, Wolf has been very unlucky while Sheets lucky with home runs so far (especially given the types of pitchers they are). Still my point is that Sheets' ERA right now is an illusion and that if Wolf and Sheets keep pitching how they have so far for teh next 4 months Wolf will end up with the much better season.

You had a terrible to below average 1B, a below average to average 2B, a below average SS, a terrible 3B, a below average to average RF, an above average CF, and a terrible LF playing today. Singles are going to happen.

All of them could. Ellsbury is a career .298/.350/.415 hitter with questionable defense. And he's already got over 2 years of service time and is about to get costly. -
You missed Branyan in 2004.

Keep in mind Weeks has earned a decent amount of money for a guy who missed so much time with injury just entering his 2nd arby year. He's at 8.307m before this year's 2.75m salary.

Wolf has outpitched Sheets so far this season: Wolf's FIP 4.49, xFIP 4.00 Sheets' FIP 4.69 xFIP 5.69 Unless Sheets gets his control back soon his ERA won't stay under 3 very long.
