  1. Yes in week's extensive career he hasn't hit Webb well
  2. I don't have this dislike of Barnwell that some have (career minor leaguer? Like Gross, Miller, Rivera, and Clark?) I just don't understand the need to rest Weeks now after a long All Star break.
  3. I really don't understand Weeks not playing.
  4. Well you have Soriano leading off instead of Beltran, pretty sure Garner jsut drew 8 names out of a hat.
  5. Pretty sure its due to Cirillo having killed Maddux over his career. I see that someone again put Neifi's name in the lineup batting 2nd. Poor Dusty, he just can't do anything about that. Well according to Bill adn Darron he's blameless anyway. Rivera is alot like Moeller. Having some good years at his career peak at 28-29. Might as well be with Milwaukee rather than Nashville.
  6. Mr. Jackson had a .897 OPS against with a .330 BBA heading into today. This really isn't too surprising. He hasn't pitched noticably better than Eveland, he was just a bit more lucky.
  7. Yep. I think its set for next year. They were hiring trackers for this season to give it a run through. This season's data is supposed to be released sometime after the season, likely after they tweak the system somewhat.
  8. As for balls that should be DPs but aren't, unlikely. But there are large projects doing play by play defense that would tell you what a person does. But those are private and expensive. MLB is supposed to have their own play by play stats starting next year, but what it includes and if its as crappy as everything else Elias does, we'll ahev to wait to see.
  9. My guess is they were doing real time updating on some stats but not others. Averages may change right away but hits are slow to be put in or something. Everything is fine right now.
  10. Davis is getting tons of ground balls.
  11. Plays like that show why the Tigers are great. They just never make mistakes!
  12. Good teams like the Tigers have great closers with ERAs below 2!
  13. Basically the more advanced look at hitting lines and pitching lines to estimate what those numbers say the Brewers should have given up and what they should have scored. Basically the Breweres "should" have scored about 15 more runs and "should" have allowed about 32 fewer.
  14. Great game, and for those who missed the call, according to Bill somehow Jenkins hit a ball away from him down the right field line without pulling it.
  15. Hart is now destined to spend the rest of the month on the bench. Get the feeling Sabathia came back from the DL too soon?
  16. How long until Bill shreiks with excitement that the Brewers scored 4 runs without having to resort to using those icky home runs?
  17. Umm Darron, Ned is following the stats.
  18. Because Koskie had a good 25 Abs against Sabathia.
  19. So both Fielder and Hall hit balls that go all the way to the pitcher's mound and the inning was Jenkins' fault?
  20. No Hall bunt with Jenkins up next. Another 7th inning big AB given to Bad Chad.
  21. That wasn't Clark's fault. A hit and run was called (which is why Koskie swung at such a bad pitch). Clark had to wait to go.
  22. Jackson was pretty easy to hit yesterday. 9 hits in 7 innings with 4 home runs is getting hit fairly well.
  23. I can't check now, but FSN usually replays games either late at night or during the next day.
