  1. Everyone did see Obemueller's AAA start right? Actually you just did.
  2. OMG Bennett is going for the cycle!
  3. He just had a 31 pitch inning thanks to Dunn.
  4. This should be Hendrickson's last inning.
  5. Here we see why Grieve should be batting 2nd or third. It will definitely give Podsednik a chance to steal.
  6. Come on! Be nice! Hendrickson just got his ERA below 11!
  7. Bennett now has his average up to .184!
  8. Anyone else having the mlb audio cutting out on them?
  9. Well at least Bennett is catching so he can drop foul tips.
  10. The top high school pitchers tend to do ok, but in general more college pitchers reach the major leagues and of pitchers who do reach the major leagues, college pitchers tend to have more success. May have probably seen this, but I'll link to it again. It covers most of Callis' sample (not the last three years because those pitchers aren't old enough to fit in the study's guidelines). It doesn't necessarily match up because it takes the top 10 pitchers regardless of round. Basically, the study says if the choice is between the #1 high school pitcher and the #1 college pitcher, take the college pitcher. #1 high school vs #2 college, take the top high schooler. sports.espn.go.com/mlb/columns/story?columnist=neyer_rob&id=1811682
  11. So Grieve is clearly in line for a hot spell where Clark is in line for a rapid decline. Clearly Grieve should play.
  12. Clark OPS 748 Jenkins OPS 738
  13. Mike Adams again shows why he is the second best reliever for Milwaukee.
  14. Peferct place for Kieschnick with either Erickson following or Helms if well enough for an AB.
  15. Good thing there is no such thing as a Cub error.
  16. I can see wanting to give Vizcaino a day off, but Bennett should not be a choice.
  17. Bennett is the worst reliver on the Brewers, so why is he anywhere near a two run game?
  18. Anyone want to try to explain the fascination with Jeff Bennett?
