  1. I feel pretty good.
  2. Brewers have scored 16 runs in two games, but the former Brewers starters have stymied them.
  3. Happy dirt pounding.
  4. Thanks for the warning. Definitely don't want to see that.
  5. Chourio is definitely gimpy.
  6. Miz's off speed stuff was on point that inning.
  7. This should be interesting
  8. Both times, he hurt his leg running the bases. DH'ing him isn't going to do anything unless he strikes out every time and doesn't have to run.
  9. Do you honestly think they don't have a plan?
  10. I assume Chourio will not play tonight. As much as I want him to be on the field, they have to sit him until they are absolutely confident that he's ok.
  11. Don't care because if the Brewers play up to their potential, they can beat everybody (obviously - they are the #1 team in the league). But if I have to choose, I'd prefer the Cubs. Don't want to deal with the Padres' pitching staff.
  12. It has already been announced that each team will only get 2 challenges and they have to come immediately after the pitch, no help from the dugout. Only the batter, pitcher, and catcher can challenge. You keep the challenge if you're right. If the game goes to extras and team is out of challenges, they get one for the 10th. If they use it, they get another for the 11th, etc. Basically, teams are guaranteed a challenge per inning in extras.
  13. The ESPN writer has no idea what he's talking about (from an article ranking the rotations of potential playoff teams): The candidates: Freddy Peralta, Jacob Misiorowski, Brandon Woodruff, Quinn Priester, Chad Patrick, Logan Henderson, Jose Quintana You could argue any of the first two names listed is the best option to start Game 1 for Milwaukee right now, but Peralta is the likely answer because Misiorowski is a rookie with some unlucky outcomes thus far (5.50 second half ERA). Woodruff was also in the convo 12 starts removed from missing all of 2024 because of shoulder surgery, but was placed on the injured list with a right lat strain. That said, all three have been excellent this year, along with the long-awaited breakout of longtime top prospect Priester. Henderson (currently injured) and Patrick are excellent long-relief options who can also start, if needed. This is a microcosm of the Brewers organization: not the most talented by almost any measure but always optimized and outpunching the payroll, possibly by a lot.
  14. jfc
  15. I'm still undefeated. Also unvictorious.
  16. The Brewers are cruising 6-2 in the 7th. The game has been completely stress-free to this point. I don't know how anyone can ask for more.
  17. Civale still pitched pretty decently in the short time he was with the Brewers. I would have preferred him to not complain publicly, but at the same time, I don't blame him for being annoying about going to the pen.
  18. I'm going to inspire the team for this series by writing them a poem and saying it's from Harvey Kuenn.
