  1. Uke's family said he had been battling cancer since 2023. I think that's why Yelich was so emotional talking about him after the playoff loss. He knew this was the last chance.
  2. This one really hurts.
  3. Just so we're clear, it's not a ghost runner. The runner physically exists.

  5. I only read a little of this thread, but my thoughts are that the Brewers have a very bright future, so I'm looking forward to that. And while I am obviously disappointed with the Game 3 loss, it's not because I now think "we're never going to win a World Series in my lifetime." I didn't think we were going to do it this year, even after such a great regular season. I did not think we'd beat the Phillies in the NLDS and I did not think that if we did, we'd beat the Dodgers or Padres. So I wasn't upset that our chances at a WS title were gone. I was sad that we didn't get to enjoy the thrill of a series victory and doubly sad that it was snatched away at the last second. And I was sad that we didn't get to enjoy the excitement and hope during the next series, even if it ended in a loss. A lot of times, the thing I hate the most about my teams losing in the playoffs is that the fun is over. It's not that they didn't win a championship, it's that now I don't get to enjoy the games until the next time around.
  6. I'm out of market, so the only games I didn't get were against the Braves and the ones on Apple.

  8. Would be nice. I have YouTube TV down in the Atlanta area and it doesn't have Bally's Sports, so I can't watch the Brewers when they play the Braves (blacked out). Fortunately, as a T-Mobile customer, I've been getting free MLB.tv every season. Hopefully that continues.
  9. As a Virginia alum, winning the men's basketball title in 2019 was sweeter because of what happened the year before. I can't say with 100% certainty that I wouldn't change the 2018 result if I could, but I do know that it made the following year even more magical.
  10. Thing with Bauers is that I'm actually confident that he can blast a mistake pitch. He has a nice swing and good power. It's just when there isn't a mistake pitch, he struggles.
  11. None of us has any clue how this beautiful game works.
  12. With the way Freddy gives up early homers, not sure how much I love him being up in the pen But hey, let's go.
  13. The bad news: this game is going down to the wire. The good news: Collins is going to walk it off.
  14. Well, I guess the silver lining is that we needed a shutdown start since we haven't scored.
  15. He's having trouble laying off high fastballs.
  16. Hoskins was in swing no matter what mode on 2-0. Pitch was ball the moment it was released.
  17. I'd love to get back to taking walks, creating chaos on the basepaths, and getting that key hit to drive in a couple.
  18. Sounds like a sweet guy.
  19. Don't like this interview right now
  20. Air bender them straight to hell.
