So much angst among the Brewers fandom about winning a game in this series. Last I checked, the Cubs are the ones who are 8 games back and the Brewers are the ones who have the best record in baseball and are coming off a 14-game winning streak.
She was quite a bit better than last night's ump. She wasn't great (hey, it was her first big league game), but she was only very slightly below league average all around.
That last pitch was awesome. You could kind of see it in Woodruff's body language: "I'm ******* destroying this guy right here." And there it was, 95 on the paint.
He has close to a zero percent chance. He'll get votes, but he would not only have to earn wins in most of the rest of his starts to get to around 20 total, but he would have to absolutely dominate to make his other numbers too good to ignore.
