  1. Isn't it the inconsistency of the umpires that causes that?
  2. It appears these ads were an issue a couple weeks ago: http://forum.brewerfan.net/viewtopic.php?t=18238
  3. Ah, keeping them guessing, eh? Pirates will be up all night thinking "was that it?...or not....???"
  4. That is some pretty sad retaliation by the Brewers
  5. Getting the same thing with Dish, so it looks to be a WMLW/FSN problem No problem with audio on WMLW on TWC.
  6. There is no Brewers Live on WMLW, they have an alternate pre-game show called "Inside Pitch". It has Davey and some other guy (from WMLW, I assume).
  7. Offense is now 7th in OBP and 5th in walks. (for comparison, in 2008 they were 9th in walks and 10th in OBP) In 2009 they averaged 3.4 walks per game, this year they are averagining just over 4. For 2009 one walk for every 9.6 PA, for 2008 it was one in every 11.4 PA. So far, they are showing an improvement in their walk rate. But it could just be due to continuing a gradual trend as last season in Apr they had one walk for every 11.8 PA, but in Sept they had one in every 10.2.
  8. Gameday had it right at the top of the zone.
  9. Out again...why is only FSN affected this way?
  10. Nice they made that defensive sub for Lee. Not a lot of confidence in Villaneuva here, though.
  11. How did he instigate that arguement...by calling a ball a ball?
  12. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif hmm, yeah whatever happened to "can't argue balls and strikes"? I guess Bill thinks that should not apply to his buddies. That pitch was not even close according to game day, not sure why that was the one to get all worked up over.
  13. I'd hope it was, since most of the pitches were not close.
  14. Idiot Houston fans booing Cameron. There was nothing wrong with that play, except that I would not want Cameron to be injured...I'm not sure it was worth the risk.
  15. I was about to ask what awful thing BA had said....then I thought "ohhhh....". But you guys are silly, if you really think anything said in the booth, that is not even heard by the players is going to magically affect the game. I'm not a fan of BA, but I'm glad he does not pretend to ridiculous superstitions like that.
  16. Besides, it probably would be a marginal call whether or not to bunt there anyway.
  17. I wonder if FSN has a shortage of advertisers, they are not going to commercials for pitching changes.
  18. There is no way Yost would have made that move in the 7th...and maybe it saves the game, even though it is not a "save".
  19. And in addition to constantly misjudging flyballs, Mr. Anderson thinks it was a big gamble to not bunt with one out and a runner on second.
  20. Don't recall the details, but I do remember the brewers making Figeroa look like a Cy Young award candidate.
  21. But would those be the true odds, or would it be, say, a choice between a 35% chance of winning each versus a 5% chance at one and a 65% chance at the other? Both of which would add up to 0.7 expected wins for the two games.
  22. Ugh...hate to see him do it against the brewers.
