great time for your first rbi Cameron, you've done just about everything else so far tonight
  2. Blancofan1
does Benny stay in the game here with McClung up? does anyone have quick access to his pitch count?
  3. Blancofan1
nice job Corey, great job by the ump to be in position to make that call.
  4. Blancofan1
good job Braun, I like the idea. We need runners and if that is what the Cubs give you, then bunt away. and now the line drive double play-- not much you can do there.
  5. Blancofan1
In fairness to Bill, some of Sheets curveballs have looked really good only to be called balls by the umps.

Anyone keeping an eye on the Blue Jays and Red Sox. Pitching lines: Lester 8.0 ip 1 hit 4 BB K Papelbon 1.0 ip 1 hit 2 K Halladay 8.2 ip 5 hit 1 BB 6K 1 ER and a loss I'm pretty sure that is 3 complete game losses for Haladay on the year. That has to hurt.

It's really nice to see so many balls put in play to the right side. Even the out that JJ hit was a hard hit ball to right, good things are going to come.

You just had to bring that up again, huh? I had almost erased the term twisted testicle from my mind..
  9. Blancofan1
Totally fooled the ump as well I guess.
  10. Blancofan1
1 inning, 1 run let's keep that trend up please
  11. Blancofan1
Yeah, I knew that I liked that Cameron fellow!!

If it's from a season ticket pack, you can trade the tix in for $1 each for a game that you can go to. I believe it is only for Mon-Thurs games though. If you really want the bobblehead that day, sell 2 tix for the price of one to a friend with the understanding that they give you one of the bobbles, that's what I had to do for the Prince.

You don't have to believe Gord Ash or Haudricourt, just watch Baseball tonight, especially around trade deadline time. I don't have a lot of faith in ESPN but there are a few guys on there that I trust when it comes to baseball news. Mostly Peter Gammons and Soup Cambell, even Steve Phillips I trust when he's talking about waiver moves and transactions, just not when he speaks about actual personnel involved.

I found this today on MSN, apparently all direct deposits will go out this week. Checks that are being mailed out have been moved up as well. From the article: Rebate delivery schedule Direct-deposit payment All sent by May 2 Paper check If the last two digits of your Social Security number are: Your tax rebate check should be in the mail by: 00-09 May 16 10-18 May 23 19-25 May 30 26-38 June 6 39-51 June 13 52-63 June 20 64-75 June 27 76-87 July 4 88-99 July 11 MSN link

Eastbay is not actually a Wisconsin based company anymore. They are owned and operated by Foot Locker Inc, which includes; Foot Locker, Champs Sports, Foot Action stores and the umbrella Eastbay websites and stores. I never worked for Eastbay itself, but I did work for one of the other divisions and overall the company is all based out of Florida and New York with very little actually left in Wisconsin.

I'm not so sure that this is really jumping the gun all that much. I know Skaalen has worked with a lot of our players for an extended time, and overall most have been successful, but they need to start adapting more. Pitchers change gameplans constantly during a game, and it seems like the Brewer offense is always behind on changing our approach at the plate.
  17. Blancofan1
I believe that Coshun said that he already cleared waivers and was going to Nashville.
  18. Blancofan1
Wow, I had a feeling that it would be Turnbow DFA'd after today, or Manny optioned to Nashville.
  19. Blancofan1
What surprises me the most about it is that we seem to take a lot of first pitches, but somehow we still don't get pitch counts up very quickly. After almost every inning, especially when Manny pitches it seems, Brewer pitchers consistently have higher pitch counts than the opposing team.
  20. Blancofan1
Makes me a lot more excited about going to the game tomorrow!!! Great pitching all around again today.
  21. Blancofan1
Cameron coming back can't hurt our offense at least. It can't get much worse than what has been shown this past week
  22. Blancofan1
I almost thought that was going to be one of the handfull of HR's by Kendall there. Too bad he doesn't try harder to pull the ball a little more, maybe Billy can work on that with him
  23. Blancofan1
wow, Mike rivera really is still on this team. I thought it was a sin to use the backup catcher as a pinch hitter. edit--we are undefeated in games in which Rivera plays on the season, let's keep that trend going
  24. Blancofan1
come on JJ. You could use the multiple rbi game, it might help quiet some of the problems with your batting average
  25. Blancofan1
Apparently none of them have for over a week now.
