    My guess for the upcoming week Mon-McClung Tues-CC Wed-Parra Thurs-Sheets, sets him up for 4 days rest till all star appearance Fri-Bush Sat-Suppan Sun-CC After the break it sets up as CC, Sheets, Parra, Suppan and Bush/McClung with me leaning towards McClung in the pen not because I like Bush more, I'd prefer it the other way, but Seth seems to be better out of the pen. just my two cents

    Let's just look at a few very biased stats for Manny this year going into today. 1-0 vs Arizona 3-0 in day games 4-0 indoors, assuming the roof will be closed there for a day game. According to the numbers, there is no possible way that he can lose this game right? Seriously though, I think this could be a huge coming out game for Manny if he can pitch as well as he has recently and get the win against Webb.

    Put me on the growing list if anyone has an extra, extra JJ poster. I have a niece who would love it. I will have a Polish bobble next weekend if anyone wants to trade, or I can do cash.

    I am actually thinking of stepping up to a full season package from the 20 games we have had the past few years. If the demand is down for whatever reason, I would like to think that I would be able to get some pretty great seats then. I would however settle for worse seats throughout the year just to be able to see playoff baseball (eventually it has to happen right?) at Miller Park. I live to close to the park now to stop going to as many games.

    after a weekend full of $1 hot dogs I have come to two conclusions. 1. Turns out dollar dogs really aren't that good, and you don't need to eat 6 a day just because they are cheap 2. If you are going to eat 15 or more dollar dogs in less than 4 days, you should stock up on bathroom reading material beforehand.

    Every schedule that I have, and brewers.com has this game listed as a 7:05 start time. Either way, 3 out of 4 would be huge.

    Have we figured out the book on Pujols? Just don't let him hit homeruns and pick him off somewhere on the bases. What a rough game for him

    On the drive home, I heard that Yost totally threw Kendall under the bus for missing the sign. I disagree with a suicide squeeze with the bases loaded in general, but shouldn't Kendall have had to confirm getting the sign before Sveum sent Billy? I haven't been able to rewatch it at all but I don't think the other 2 runners were on the move and I think the blame maybe with the coaching staff for sure. If Kendall doesn't acknowledge the play being on, Sveum should never told Billy to go. Sidenote----One person who should not get any of the blame for that mix up should be Bill Hall. I personally am not a big fan of his, but he couldn't have gotten the signs wrong. The runner at third in that situation doesn't even reads signs, Sveum just flat out tells him what to do.

    passes to get into what used to be the 300 club area. not game tickets, just passes into the nice bar/restaraunt area

    One name that I haven't seen on here yet is Nick Leyva. The last that I heard was that he was in the Mets farm system. I'm not 100% sold on him, just throwing it out there. I did read that one of the reasons he was gone and Svuem was in was his inability to agree with Yost. If we are looking for a change, maybe he could bring it.

    rent.com has a decent system for comparing moving companies and so does msn.com if you click on the real estate link I believe. I had decent luck using the rent.com one when moving from Cleveland to Milwaukee. Word of warning, it's really nice to have them do it for you but it is not cheap

    <---store manager of a specialty apparel retailer, worked for one company for the last 8 years or so, and start with a new company as of this Monday at Mayfair in short, I sell jeans to teenage girls--turns out no matter how bad the economy is getting, kids never seem to slow down their frill spending thank god for me

    tell me that the Astros 1st base coach is even close to being in his coaching box. Wasn't that something umps were keeping an eye on this year. Does this crew just get to make their own set of rules and regulations?

    it's amazing how much better (more accurate) that Torres' strike zone is compared to what Gagne was getting
