  1. wasn't it the last Suppan/Cueto matchup that Billy had the #1 web gem? I actually think we had two of the top five web gems that day.
  2. The jingle going around my workplace lately is the Subway '5, 5 dollar footlong'. It's amazing and sad the number of times I catch myself saying that in my head everyday!
  3. Not having Dusty Baker as our manager. All Ned issues aside, at least he isn't Dusty reaking havic on our young players.
  4. again, Dusty baffles me. I just don't understand the thinking behind bunching up your lefthanders against Suppan. I guess it makes it harder for him to pitch around Griffey. Seems even more absurd after we just brought up another lefty reliever. Maybe if I chew on a toothpick for awhile I will get it, but for now I don't understand.
  5. I am moving in May and really don't want to move all of my workout equipment, plus my new place is right above a SnapFitness so I don't need the stuff. Everything is in Menomonee Falls, right off of 45 and would have to be picked up. Competitor C200 weight bench w/ leg bar and 150 lbs of marcy free weights. Gold's gym dumbbell set w/ stand. pairs from 5-30lbs each. Ab Lounge 2, used more for stretching out my back than actual ab work. I would prefer if someone would take it all at once, but if there is only one piece that you are interested in just pm me and we can go from there. I don't really know what to ask for this stuff so make an offer I guess. I would like to think that I could get at least $150 or more for everything cause it cost me over $400 just over a year ago. Here is the link to my craigslist ad that shows some stock photos of the bench and ab lounge.
  6. yeah!!! Crazy Joe's bat and Prince gets on the board
  7. Ever since he used Joe's bat last year he has been using that brand. True, but it usually doesn't have 27 written on the bottom of the handle.Go Crazy Joe's bat!!!
  8. is it just me, or does the strike zone seem to be getting bigger and more expansive as the game goes on? think DeMuth has an early flight?
  9. looks pretty good. seems to have good control of all pitches so far. wouldn't be surprised, or upset, if he walks albert though
  10. at least pitch around him, if not a straight walk
  11. I have a feeling that this means Manny goes back to Nashville. Partly because of his last 2 outings, and mostly because of his options.
  12. anyone else notice Prince using Crazy Joe's bat there? i seem to rember that from last year as well at some points
  13. that's enough IGT for me today. if I stay here I'm afraid that I will end up with too many BF strikes, unless DeMuth is a moderator today, maybe then I could skirt the cuss filter
  14. gotta love that double play!! the Mac Fund--is that still were the double play donations go?--should have a great fundraising year the way things look
  15. 17 pitch inning. minor encouragement. he's still only up to 36 through 3. edit--we don't have a K yet either
  16. control problems for Manny so far and we call a pitchout on a 2-2 count! really Ned, really?
  17. Attention brewer hitters: have you noticed the strike zone while you've been playing in the field? Tight zone should equal seeing more than 19 pitches in 2 innings. If we show some actual patience today, I could see us really breaking out the runs and we could leave St Louis with a win at least.
  18. Manny's been a little wild true, DeMuth seems to be squeezing a bit as well, but at least most of his balls have been low. I'd rather see that than CV having such a hard time keeping the ball down last night
  19. end--is there actually any brewers that you do like? it seems that any postitve vibe or good feelings that a lot of BF posters have about lineup changes only make your posts seem more negative. i generally agree with lots of the stuff that you post, but the negativity this early in the year seems a little unneccessary
  20. very pleased with that lineup. not to get into much here, but this is the kind of getaway day game that would have led Ned to start 4 or more back ups in the past. here's hoping that Billy has a day to get his head straight and JJ gets a chance to groove some fastballs and find his stroke again. I love having the day off and scheduling everything around daygame baseball!!!
  21. If Rickie drives in the winning run on a Tuesday against the Reds, will anyone on BF remember it the next Wednesday?
  22. was it earlier in this IGT, or maybe yesterday's that someone said that Kendall's defense didn't impress them. I for one have been very impressed, (admittedly I am a big Kendall backer though)
  23. even Doug Melvin looks a little depressed about our offenese right now
