  1. Yeah, it’s probably one of the best giveaways they have ever done, in my opinion. I’d have thought it was intended, among other things, to bring in appropriate beverages to games at Miller Park. It does have multiple zippered areas, so I’m guessing it won’t be allowed.
  2. You mean the one in the picture if you click the link? Not exactly.
  3. Well, he let our arguably best starter walk and sign for basically nothing, all to experiment with 3/5 of the starting rotation being unproven... when we were one game away from the World Series last year.
  4. Do the have any decent pitching? Do the still have Je Man Choi (I doubt I spelled that correctly)?
  5. Unfortunately, neither are the Brewers.
  6. I think so. Isn’t it his last three at-bats, with each resulting in a 2-run HR?
  7. Yeah that does kind of suck. It’s the definition of a .500 team. Win some games you shouldn’t. Lose some games you shouldn’t But since preseason prognosticators weren’t unanimously picking the brewers to be in the playoffs this year. This is supposed to be called a successful season. So be happy Be happy? This team was one game away from the WS last year. They released one of their best starters in Miley and dismantled their bullpen in an experiment to find starters. In doing so, they left themselves in a poor position to adjust if that experiment didn’t work (in which it didn’t). Add some significant injuries to their bullpen and now their best starter, and also factor in some significant regressions on the offensive side and some pitching, and this all adds up to one of the most disappointing seasons in franchise history (considering the expectations for the team). I am anything but happy with this team this year. Edit: And to add on to it, it’s obvious that this bullpens needs severe bolstering. Nothing is happening on that front and every game we blow could prove to be critical at the end of the season. A move needs to be made days ago and not a week from now. We may blow 3 more games by then with our bullpen.
  8. Don’t know why we haven’t acquired any bullpen help yet. Yesterday’s disappointing loss may lead into a big losing streak.
  9. Just when they pull me in again, they have a devastating loss yesterday and a start like this today. Proves they aren’t that good of a team.
  10. I wonder if the Miller Lite giveaway backpack cooler from a few years ago will be allowed in. I’m guessing not, and it was an awesome giveaway.
  11. Why is there so much regression on the team this year? We are finally (hopefully) getting past the offensive regressions of Shaw and Thames/Aguilar, and Chacín continues throw batting practice out there. I think that we need to acquire one starter and two bullpen arms if we are going to make a go of it. Does Chacín have any more options?
  12. They’ve done well the last couple games, but I’d still like to see us acquire one more starter. Definitely need the bullpen help more though.
  13. If he’s going to acquire some bullpen help, I sure hope Stearns doesn’t wait until right before the deadline. We could definitely use the help for the extra week or so. The division is so tight, one game could very well make the difference.
  14. Here we go... we really need to get two decent bullpens arms if we are going to want a chance at the division.
