  1. What are expectations for impact of shadows and glare for Thursday’s 4pm game? I’d imagine batting won’t be impacted much after the first couple of innings, but the left fielders might have a rough time. The forecast is for sun Thursday but clouds Friday.
  2. That must be the longest hit ball in Wrigley history to not be a home run. How did the basket not get between the ball and the glove?
  3. If the Brewers being good continues to be a thing, fans should mark off their day calendars in early October like college basketball fans do for the third Thursday and Friday in March.
  4. On Thursday or Friday? Thursday I believe this is how the Thursday schedule will go down. The Cubs will draw more primetime viewers than the Dodgers, who would draw more viewers than the Rockies.
  5. It couldn't be 3:00 because that would mean the Dodgers would be playing in LA at 10am local time.
  6. It happens every year on the day that there are four games. It happened today. ;-)
  7. AL games are Friday night. NL during the day. Check your cable guide for verification.
  8. Thursday will be 3:00 or 6:30. Friday will be noon or 3:00. With the Dodgers hosting games 1 and 2 in their series, the Brewer game will definitely be at noon Friday.
  9. Ideally, Woodruff will do what Guerra did today and eat up some middle innings to keep our end of game guys fresh.
  10. According to the odds makers, after Saturday, there's a 30% chance the Brewers and Cubs will be tied, a 15% chance the Cubs will clinch the division, and 55% chance we'll head into Sunday where we are now (Cubs 1-game lead).
  11. BA with the nice iphone camera work.
  12. It seems like a good day to bring this back: unavailable for 9/25 are Peralta, Hader, and potentially Burnes and Jeffress.
  13. I still can’t believe, in the biggest game of the year, that they depended so much on a guy, Peralta, that threw 1 inning in the past 26 days.
  14. Biggest series in 7 years: let’s start the game with our 14th best pitcher!
  15. Does Cedeno start to try to neutralize Carpenter?
  16. Kratz bats in key, late inning situations two games in a row. Is an acquisition possible?
  17. After watching Manny Pina pinch hit with the bases loaded of a 2-0 game with the division lead on the line, could Stearns acquire a cheap, non-playoff eligible bat to get us through the last 16 games? Perhaps a Victor Martinez-type?
  18. It will be nice having our top prospect / AAA-level players put up non-altitude-enhancing stats.
  19. Sept. 8 - Out: Hader
  20. Sept. 7 - all hands on deck!, except possibly Burnes.
  21. Sept. 5 - Definitely out: Knebel, Woodruff, Guerra. Possibly out: Hader, Peralta.
  22. It’s a different team if that’s the case.
  23. We make 200 trades, and Hernan Perez is still our #5 hitter.
