  1. You simply write Source: (cite source) Typically you should provide a link to the source material as well.
  2. If you don't mind waiting for payment till this Friday when I get paid I'll buy it off you Russ.
  3. Sounds like they did it to try and get you to ask for your outright release.
  4. Gabe Kapler is the greatest player ever.
  5. Careful. As soon as Brian thinks we are off our guard he's liable to up and move the whole forum again.
  6. He clearly won't maintain his .500+ BA for the rest of the year, but I think their is a legitimate argument for moving him up to #2 for at least the time being to "ride the hot hand". The guy has been a monster so far and it doesn't appear as if he will slow down anytime soon.
  7. ?Your life is so incomplete.
  8. Like Alex Rodriguez playing for the Dominican Republic?
  9. So how long till we get a thread devoted to your growing bunny scourge?
  10. Wii Tennis
  11. The thing I liked about Chicago and Wisconsin drivers is you could generally tell what they are thinking. Chicago/Illinois drivers tend to be highly aggressive, and Wisconsin drivers tend to be fairly conservative. Minnesota drivers OTOH, are idiots and true scourges of the road.
  12. I'm guessing Jaimie could find a use for the stupid white rocks.
  13. *I saw Brian make a spinach dip in a loaf of sourdough bread once. But I'd agree that most people have used the term since grade school and it will just be a matter of people making sure to proof read their posts before they reply. I know I'm just as guilty as anyone else here of getting heated or flippant about certain subjects, but April is as good a time as any to get into the habit of of giving your post a quick once over. *I too have made a spinach dip in a loaf of sourdough bread. Not that their is anything wrong with that.
  14. Downloaded it and will try and find some time later today to put it on.
  15. Hear, hear. I went a wonderful 5 years without ever owning a car in the Cities and even now only use my car on bad weather days. Otherwise I simply bike, bus, or even *gasp* walk to work. The lack of stress from not having to deal with an annoying commute easily makes up for slightly more limited transportation options.
  16. It's hard to argue with a complete game shutout on only 108 pitches. Sheets made Yost's job pretty easy today.
  17. Cold Press actually has more caffeine then a regular cup of coffee because it is brewed for 12 hours. It also tends to be much smoother to drink and far less bitter then regular coffee, I highly reccommend you give it a try.
  18. I'm not sure who this is masquerading as Gabe Kapler, but I <3 him.
  19. They might just be having him starting as it would keep him on a set schedule that they could more easily control. Any word on what his pitch count is? I can't imagine it would be much higher then 60 pitches or so.
  20. I'd like to compliment Sheets4theHOF on the outstanding title to this thread. I imagine it would even make Geno green with envy. And to actually participate in this thread, I think it is particularly odd that the "substance" seems to only be on the three fingers that would be used o hold a baseball. It might not be a bad idea to email the local Padres beat writer the picture and see if they can find out some sort of explination for this.
  21. I know I had a similar issue several months ago and it seemed to be more of a Yuku bug then anything. I know Firefox just had a recent update, so it might be possible their are stil a few kinks that need to be worked out.
  22. To be fair to Al, much of Minneapolis was a mess when he lived here. Downtown, campus, and the north side were absolute wastelands and several other neighborhoods in south, northeast, and Uptown were almost as bad. Their is a reason Minneapolis has undertaken numerous "beautification" projects throughout the city over the past decade. Now, rather then entire sections of the city being unsafe and crime ridden, it's much smaller pockets of a block or two and as an added bonus the city actually looks nicer too. It's no Portland or Toronto, but it's far better then it was. That all being said the northside is still a mess. It would be nice if the city actually cared about cleaning it up.
  23. Shouldn't the download already be the most current version of iTunes?
  24. Ask Patrick. I hear he is a wiz with this whole Web 2.0 thing.
  25. I assure you, the graphic novels won't help. They are essentially expanded versions of the backstory talked about during Southland Tales and they don't offer up any details that will enhance the story, let alone clear up the muddled plot.
