  1. I'm gunna back pitchleague's reasoning, and take it one step further and claim that my vote was the turning point, thus, I have unlimited power!
  2. I'm so not being helpful, but this has sitcom episode written all over it.
  3. I still think Green's blowing the candle out before dunking was the best of the night.
  4. Oooh, also any music from a former Star Trek cast member. Yes, even The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins.
  5. I'm a sucker for the Electric Dreams soundtrack.
  6. I'm taking that as a compliment.
  7. Still pretty much in beta development but anyone is welcome to checkout my new movie review website. Basic idea is to review older movies that no one really watches anymore. Either because they are too obscure or even just too damn awful. Like I said it is still very much a work in progress (still working on graphics/logo, relearning CSS, and adding a few other people to the staff) but any feedback would be appreciated. Where the Long Tail Ends PS - Yes I stole EDR's Moriarty joke in my Troll review. It really was too good to waste on just baseball fans.
  8. It's a new series.
  9. Don't go back Russ. You are in a happy place now, away from the bad men.
  10. That's good stuff.
  11. I'm just not much of a fan of Moriarty, let alone Q. Heck, you might as well include his roll as Harry Potter Sr from Troll for his method acting (randomly dancing and gyrating to "Ain't no cure for the summertime blues") in that disaster for your 1986 recap. For me ihe simply comes across as trying way to hard, and it draws me out of the movie.
  12. Did I really see a Q, Winged Serpent mention in this thread?
  13. Oh man, you are in for a treat. Great game. Even the sequel is pretty damn good.
  14. Brian nailed the reasons behind this. Livan allows them to take their time with their young pitchers, and keep Perkins in the bullpen. If Livan pitches badly they jettison him and give his spot to a youngster, and if he pitches decent they try and trade him for prospects.
  15. I'd go with KOTOR being the best SW related item in the past 20 years. Of course I think the films get a bit of undue flack for not being the original trilogy. Sure they are cumbersome and Episode 2 is an outright mess, but they were are able to deliver, especially at the end. Now if someone would hurry up and push through that rumored V TV series that has been rumored for several years I might start watching TV again.
  16. It's a buyers market essentially for the entire country so you already have a pretty sizeable negotiation chip. Are you in a big rush to buy a place? Housing values and interest rates are all expected to fall for the next two years , so you will want to take that into account. I'm not sure, but a good buyer's agent might be able to help you find a property that has the least risk of depreciating during the coming down swing.

  18. Hedger had homes on both coasts and in Australia. I wouldn't be surprised if he had a residence in England or somewhere else as well. It's pretty typical for "stars" to have doctors on both coasts and anywhere else they might reside, that way they can hop between them and fill whatever prescriptions they need. It's how come someone like Ledger can have so many prescriptions that shouldn't be mixed and, most likely, why no doctor/pharmacist ever thought to warn him of the potential danger he was in. Shame he died, but I hope it might scare a few people in Hollywood to not take such risks with medications.
  19. Another excellent choice. Showdown in Little Tokyo was in my Honorable Mentions.
  20. Dang it, that one is so good it should have been mine!
  21. American Movie Robocop Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind Galaxy Quest The Muppet Movie The King of Kong My Date with Drew Meet the Feebles Dark Star Return of the Jedi List is pretty much entirely from the past 20 years, which doesn't really surprise me as I was going for movies I think are "fun" more then anything.
  22. You will want something white, seamless, and non-textured for the best possible picture. You can actually make your own screens for relatively cheap, but you want to be in as dark a room as possible for the projector. Any ambient light will mute the image significantly, which is why most people use projectors in basements.
