    Maybe I didn't word that clearly. My assumption is that they will time it so the food is ready right around the time I ask that it be ready. For example, I ordered lunch for me and my dad today. They had an option to have it ready ASAP or to have it ready at a specific time. I choose 12:00pm. They sent me a message at 11:40am telling me my food was ready.

    why do restaurants give you the option of a specific pick up time for carry out if they are just going to make it 20 min before you get there?

    I think I read that Chicagoans pay about a dollar in taxes and fees per gallon of gas. I would wager that is most of the difference. You go out to Brookfield, IL and gas is like $3.30

    Everything I've read says the draw down had a pretty small impact on gas prices. On the order of 20 - 30 cents. I think most people knew once a few refineries came back online and demand wavered a bit as summer ended it was going to drop so they did a thing that made it seem like "hey we're doing something".

    wow, gas prices really tumbled the last few weeks. I've seen $2.59 here in Milwaukee.

    Great thanks. Too bad they don't track it at the minor league level but I guess that would be asking a lot. According to that data, Ruiz had one bunt for a hit and one attempt last year in the bigs. https://www.fangraphs.com/players/esteury-ruiz/21780/stats#batted-ball

    Right and I can find sacrifice hits (bunts) on baseball reference. What I can't seem to find are just "bunts" whether they are sacrifice or not. If I can find that I can subtract sacrifice bunts and get the number that were bunts for hits (or attempted bunts for hits). Does that make sense?

    Agreed. I was just trying to see exactly how often he did bunt.

    This sent me down a shallow rabbit hole. Anyone know if they track bunt attempts for a hit as opposed to sacrifice? I only spent a few min on it but thought it'd be pretty easy to find.
