  1. Aren't they DIII? Not super jazzed about a DIII guy even if he was frosh of the year in his conference. Or am I missing something?
  2. We watched a little gem on Amazon last night called The Outfit. If you like gangster movies and/or movies with a lot of plot twists then this one is for you. There were two things that happened that were kind of ridiculous but i can't reveal them without giving anything away but other than that I really enjoyed it. Plus Mark Rylance is awesome in everything he does.
  3. Just so we're all on the same page re: Jackson https://www.nbcsports.com/boston/patriots/baltimore-ravens-place-non-exclusive-franchise-tag-lamar-jackson So essentially any team other than the Ravens that sign Jackson have to give up 2 firsts + sign him to a contract extension that the Ravens won't match....which would be a giant contract.
  4. In some ways this is kinda like the UW football coaching change for me. I was sort of sad for Jim Leonhard in that he wasn't able to get a shot to be a head coach but I am excited about the new guy. Just like I am sad to see Rodgers go but I am excited to see what Jordan Love can do. Not totally apples to apples I know....more like fruit to fruit.
  5. It is very possible that Alfred E Neuman stepped in and meddled with the Rodgers issue last offseason.
  6. Kids on laps at press conferences.
  7. Rights=. For example, the Diana Russini story was completely true. Rodgers just didn't like how people were interpreting it so he went after the messenger and portrayed her as doing a bad job.
  8. Is it just me, or do people debate MVP a lot more for the NBA than any other pro sport?
  9. The way I see it, the Jets have to get this done before the draft so they know how they can build around Rodgers this year. The Packers probably WANT 2023 draft compensation but they don't HAVE to get 2023 draft compensation. They could be ok with 2024 draft picks. Heck they might wait until after June 1.
  10. I guess I'm wondering what leverage the Jets have? What is their plan B?
  11. Yeah I would prefer that but I think the Jets are more on the clock in that regard than the Packers.
  12. Irony being that he will soon be getting his paychecks from a guy that made his bones in big pharma.
  13. Packers can play hardball now. Wait until June 1.
  14. LOL so he was going to retire until he heard GB was shopping him so he decided not to retire. Thanks, Aaron!
  15. Sounds like Zeke Elliott's days are numbered in Dallas. You just know McCarthy is champing at the bit to trade up for Bijan. I wonder what they'd give up for #15? Dallas is #26.
  16. yeah I saw someone guess late 4th early 5th for a comp pick
  17. The Rodgers press conference after this all ends should be pretty epic I'd imagine.
  18. Be great if they signed all these guys and then Rodgers retired:
  19. This talk about Lazard and Cobb to the Jets leads me to believe Rodgers isn't hemming and hawing...he's negotiating.
  20. I know my 12 year old dog is going to die some day but it's still going to be a sad day when he does.
  21. East is pretty loaded this year. Don't overlook Cleveland or the Knicks. Playoffs should be fun.
