  1. The parking lots seem like wasted space to me. Yeah obviously on game day and for concerts they are used but what about the other 250+ days of the year? I would think they could build a parking structure or two and then sell off or develop some of that excess land. If you don't want to tailgate, want covered parking, and direct access to the stadium from your car then park in a structure.
  2. They are trying. Need Brewers to sign off. https://www.fox6now.com/news/beer-district-american-family-field-entertainment-district
  3. They did the same thing with County Stadium.
  4. That's true. I lived in Chicago for 17 years and I think I saw a sheriff pull someone over south of the border once or twice. Avg speed goes up 10 mph once you are in Illinois.
  5. I think a big part of the issue is that the cities you mentioned have generations of fans. It gets passed down from grandpa/grandma to dad/mom to kid. In Phoenix I bet half the population moved there from someplace else and brought their allegiances with them. That could change over time as people stick around and put down roots.
  6. I lived in AZ when they were looking at sites for the new arena. The one on Scottsdale Road south of Old Town would have been really cool. I forget why they didn't go that route. I think there were concerns about traffic and highway access. There was also talk about a light rail extension up Scottsdale Road but that didn't happen so maybe that played into it.
  7. Any chance Milwaukee gets a team?
  8. Yeah for sure there is potential for a lot of variance in the record. Could go 5 - 11 (excuse me, 5 - 12). I think 8 or 9 wins is a reasonable goal though.
  9. I posted a tweet from someone talking about launch angle but it pasted in a bunch of other stuff so here is the gist: His launch angle this year is his highest since 2019. As such, he's hitting more fly balls and fewer ground balls than the past two years. He had a stretch last year where it also looked like "Yelich was back" but then he reverted back to meh. I'll get excited if this lasts into June.
  10. Tilt as in a good season or bad season. To me 9 wins is a good season and probably a playoff berth. Sportsbooks have the O/U on total wins at 7.5
  11. A little better than 2022:
  12. Agreed. I think GB has a pretty soft schedule but that four week stretch with Chargers, Lions, Chiefs, and Giants will probably tilt the season one way or the other.
  13. As others have suggested, I think Monterrey makes a lot of sense.
  14. Oklahoma between Chase and Clement. I just read an article that they also put bump outs on a stretch of Capitol near 51st St.
  15. Honestly, I think McAfee is a good guy but the amount of butt kissing he does to Rodgers is astounding. Can't offend the golden ratings goose I guess.
  16. I don't think I'm a fan of using these guys as guinea pigs in-season:
  17. Milwaukee has implemented a ton of traffic calming projects all over. I've seen it work more than once. People try to zip past you in the parking/bike lane and they have to slam on the brakes because there's a bump out. But I don't think you can traffic calm your way out of the issue. They have to stiffen the penalties.
  18. Josh Downs is kind of an intriguing day 2 pick. I think he's too little for the Pack to show interest though.
  19. Cody Mauch became a manimal when he went to college:
  20. After seeing his tape, the bench # really surprised me. He looks strong like bull. Must be core/lower body strength I guess. Bodies are weird.
