  1. Mack was VERY good his first year in Chicago and been just good since then. I think he's definitely declined the last two years.
  2. In a perfect world, I'd buy a house with an apartment over the garage or a mother in law cottage/carriage house in the back. I would love to rent out something like that on Air BnB. I don't think I'd want to rent out one place while living somewhere else though. I'd for sure want a management company to take care of things if that was the case.
  3. Yeah you can't win in the NFL if you can't complete more than 1 pass for 10 yards or more. That trade for Mack really screwed them. They put all their eggs in the Mitch basket and the basket broke.
  4. I'm going to go out on a small to medium-sized limb and predict that the Chiefs will not make it to the Super Bowl.
  5. I am giddy seeing so many Bears fans making excuses for Trubisky. I hope he never leaves Chicago.
  6. Saturday, January 9 (7) Colts at (2) Bills, 1:05 p.m. ET (CBS) (6) Rams at (3) Seahawks, 4:40 p.m. ET (Fox) (5) Buccaneers at (4) Washington, 8:15 p.m. ET (NBC) Sunday, January 10 (5) Ravens at (4) Titans, 1:05 p.m. ET (ABC) (7) Bears at (2) Saints, 4:40 p.m. ET (CBS/Nickelodeon/Amazon Prime) (6) Browns at (3) Steelers, 8:15 p.m. ET (NBC)
  7. Davante Adams caught more touchdown passes (18) than Mason Crosby had field goal attempts (16).
  8. Rodgers TD passes: 48 JK Scott punts: 46
  9. Defense did what it had to do today: - held Montgomery to 3.1 ypc - Mitchell had a QB RTG of 81.7 dink and dunk and dink and dunk is fine by me as long as you hold them to field goals which they did.
  10. I only care about the bye.
  11. "Severe" to me is anaphylactic shock. FDA defines it in slightly less dramatic terms: The Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine caused mild or moderate reactions in most people, and severe reactions were rare. Mild: “No interference with activity” Moderate: “Repeated use of nonnarcotic pain reliever > 24 hours or some interference with activity” Severe: “Any use of narcotic pain reliever or prevents daily activity” Potentially life-threatening: “ER visit or hospitalization”
  12. I lived in Germany for a year. I worked for Motorola and worked at BMW - I was debugging car phone issues (the box in the trunk with the handset in the armrest). Just a bit before smart phones. yeah not sure why I said smart phone. LOL could just said cell phone
  13. We have a shot at the 1 seed. Pittsburgh does not. They are basically taking their bye week this week. But they do have a shot at the 2. Which would guarantee their first 2 playoff games in Pittsburgh. I'm guessing they think home field is not worth all that much without fans.
  14. Back in the day when I did the backpack thing in Europe (and before smart phones) I would stop in a McDonalds right away in each new city. First off, you could tell how expensive the city was by the cost of the value meals and secondly almost all of them had free maps of the city center.
  15. We have a shot at the 1 seed. Pittsburgh does not. They are basically taking their bye week this week.
  16. Kopps was my college hang-out, so part of it is the memories. They are very much a greasy spoon-type burger and I think Culvers is actually better tasting. But I still won't pass one up when I'm in town. The other burger I was told was so great was Solly’s butter burger. I went and oh my. I’ve never not been able to finish a burger but that was this one. It was soaked in butter. Like dripping and made a pool on the plate. People can’t like that, can they? That sounds delicious.
  17. The Saints are down all their running backs. They are moving old friend Ty Montgomery to RB and calling up some dude from the practice squad.
  18. Sanborn and Ferguson returning for their senior years.
  19. Absolutely, if the Packers really want to extend Jones it is attainable, especially since year 1 is always the lowest cap number in a long term contract. Certainly more feasible than giving Jones the franchise tax as has been suggested. With that said, I do think they move on. Also agree that it is a difficult subject to debate and lay out a plan because nobody does know what the cap will be in 2021. Any expert saying with certainty that it will be $175 is blowing smoke. Well...this got me suspended, [sarcasm]so be careful agreeing[/sarcasm]! . It was your tone that got you a timeout. Specifically, the phrase "Even a neophyte understands..." Be less condescending when you disagree with people.
  20. Bears CBs Buster Skrine and Jaylon Johnson are out. Adams should have a field day.
  21. Nakia Watson has entered the transfer portal
  22. I believe funeral directors are considered tier II...like people that work in outpatient clinics. so they would be in the group just after hospital employees to get the vaccine
  23. He has some upper body issue he's working through.
  24. https://247sports.com/college/wisconsin/Article/Wisconsin-badgers-win-Dukes-Mayo-Bowl-over-Wake-Forest-behind-interceptions-158077326/ Good article on how the defense knew what Wake would do on 3rd down after those first two drives. This is how Nelson and Wilder got their picks.
