  1. The Padres have basically their whole team locked up through 2022 and many of them through 2023. It makes sense they'd give up the farm to get a #1 guy like Snell.
  2. People are horrible at making decisions now when the impact of that decision won't be felt for many years. This has been shown/proven many times over. We are built to live in the here and now - worked great when we were hunter/gatherers but not anymore.
  3. If Packers move on from Jones, I think they need a quick/speed guy to replace him.
  4. Yeah and I think they were a -3.5 to open against TEN That line should move GB's way I would think.
  5. I read Nudge by Richard Thaler a few months ago. He's a behavioral economist at Univ of Chicago (and won a Nobel). He says most people go with the default option when signing up for something. So if you have to "opt-in" to a retirement plan a lot of times people just won't "opt-in". He wants it to be "opt-out" so the default is you are automatically enrolled but you have to fill out a form to un-enroll. Certainly not the only reason people aren't saving but a simple change that can help.
  6. Aaron Rodgers touchdown passes: 44 JK Scott punts: 44
  7. This was before today: Green Bay clinches the first-round bye with: 1. GB win + SEA loss or tie OR 2. GB tie + NO loss or tie + SEA loss or tie, as long as both NO and SEA don't tie
  8. That's three horrible defenses in a row.
  9. Adams is putting together an all time season and he missed 2.5 games.
  10. no kidding. I am not sure what they are thinking.
  11. Interesting observation... I can’t specifically recall even seeing him out there tonight, though I’m sure he is. he laughed at Dillon for not completing the leap
  12. I'm totally fine if the Titans want a 7 min scoring drive
  13. I went to look up his stats earlier and did this... then had to pause to remember his first name. glad I'm not the only one!
  14. anyone else keep calling him Corey Dillon?
  15. The Lions need to be relegated to the XFL
  16. Vikings need to start thinking about drafting a QB. Cousins isn't mobile at all and he'll be 33 before next season. They should have burned it all to the ground and traded Cook.
  17. I have Kamara so maybe it doesn't matter what I do with Metcalf
  18. this team is really fun to watch. very solid on both ends of the floor and no real weaknesses.
  19. I thought that as well but then I checked on Chase and the only thing they listed was the age of my oldest credit card. I always thought it was average age. EVen so, I opened two credit cards in the last two years and my credit score didn't move.
  20. Credit score could take a very minor hit if you open a new card due to the credit check. But as long as you aren't getting credit checks up the wazoo you probably won't even notice it. Credit checks account for 5% of your credit score. Closing an account though can really ding you especially if it's a card you've had for a long time.
  21. UW 1 point favorite
  22. I'd be willing to be the TV revenue is way more important than the gameday revenue.
  23. I am not sure what is there for non-subscribers but I believe the backing tracks (you can turn each instrument track on/off individually), and interactive tab playback (there's a fretboard that lights up as each note is struck upon playback). I think this video covers all the differences:
  24. ultimateguitar.com has 80% off a one year subscription through tomorrow I think. You can get tabs for pretty much any guitar related song you can think of along with online assistance on how to play them and a backing track (which is pretty cool). I would never pay full price for it but at 80% off I think it's worth it if you are learning how to play. It might work best in conjunction w lessons or online tutorials but if you'd rather learn on your own this might be one notch above youtube.
