Interesting article on elite recruits and NIL money:

I think the NIL stuff will mostly impact the 5-star elite recruits which UW rarely gets. Maybe 1 every couple of years?

I hope none of you bought a Matthew Golden jersey (or Emmanuel Wilson for that matter):

I would trade 6 of the last 7 Packers' 1st round picks for Parsons (not including Golden)
25 Morgan
13 Van Ness
28 Wyatt
22 Walker
29 Stokes
26 Love*
21 Savage
*Would not trade Love
It's a big but necessary risk. Gute knows the window is open right now. He'd be out of a job if they lost in the first round of the playoffs the next two years.
He turns 30 in October and came into the league at 21. He's played A LOT of snaps.
edit: I guess he came into the league at 20 and turned 21 in October.
The blown save on Friday was a lot of bad luck. The three balls put in play were not hit very hard at all. One of which was a grounder he took off the shin and another Lockridge misplayed.
Sounds fun but I joined a new league this year which makes three for me. That plus my dalliance with daily fantasy makes for all the fantasy football I can handle.
