  1. Dinges is gonna mess around and end up in Biloxi later this year
  2. The Naked Gun trailer is great. And it's directed by one of the Lonely Island guys so I am hopeful.
  3. I think for Boston fans, there's added resentment because of how things went with Mookie Betts who could hit and play great defense at multiple positions and they still let him walk.
  4. Nashville is lovely this time of year (actually it's probably very hot)
  5. True and I hope I am wrong but his career numbers are pretty pedestrian to bad. Yeah he could have figured everything out. He is a former #1 pick so it's possible.
  6. I get the sentiment, and if it works roster-wise, it's fine, but he's got a .372 BABIP. His production is most likely smoke and mirrors.
  7. I'm referring specifically to the 15 - 1 season playoff loss and the game against Tampa Bay. Missing those guys in those games was huge.
  8. Injuries matter. Coaches like to say, "Next man up," because what else are you going to say, but losing Nick Collins and David Bakhtiari was huge.
  9. I wish he played more often. Philly is probably a good fit for him. He won't have to play very many snaps.
  10. They will re-sign their own guys to extensions.
  11. Denzel Clarke with an amazing catch to rob Nolan Schanuel of a homer:
  12. two games in a row Ortiz has hit the ball hard to right When he was on fire last April May that's what he was doing with regularity
  13. Packers just got a ton of cap relief.
  14. Enjoying the new Led Zeppelin doc on Netflix. It doesn't dive super deep into their personal lives (ahem! Jimmy Page) but I guess that was the tradeoff to get all three living members to do interviews. Some really interesting footage, anecdotes, and "stuff". Jimmy Page showed his calendar from his days as a session musician and listed off all the bands he worked with - Rolling Stones, The Who, etc. etc. Robert Plant had the original lyrics to Ramble On scribbled on a piece of paper.
  15. I can't believe the Padres agreed to this in game mic w Merrill. They are literally asking questions as the pitch is being thrown.
  16. With an elite infield behind him, that is plenty good as long as he's getting ground balls.
  17. Were there results announced from last night's x-ray?
  18. Their window has closed significantly. IMO, they need to win it all this year or next.
  19. I put this in the Golf Thread but Scottie Scheffler has as many wins since May 2nd as the Rockies do.
