  1. Surprisingly they did not until a reporter asked them about it the other day. I'd have thought they would have at least heard of it. Heck, Woodruff was on the team last time they got 12 in a row and he didn't know what George Webb was. https://www.jsonline.com/story/sports/mlb/brewers/2025/08/13/milwaukee-brewers-george-webb-knowledge-light-despite-winning-streak/85636040007/
  2. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2025_Milwaukee_flood Milwaukee + WOW counties got the brunt of it.
  3. https://www.jsonline.com/story/weather/2025/08/11/milwaukee-storms-flooding-rivers-nws-explainer/85606358007/?tbref=hp
  4. It was a 1,000 year flood. Some areas had 10 inches of rain in less than 6 hours. I know 5 people who had flooding in their basements in Brookfield, Wauwatosa, and West Allis.
  5. Numbers since June 1: 333/435/530/965 ROY favorite, IMO.
  6. I think you're being a little rough on the author. He's being more complimentary in the article than critical.
  7. Fangraphs digs into a resurgent Andrew Vaughn's numbers: https://blogs.fangraphs.com/an-investigation-into-the-dinger-filled-rampage-of-a-reborn-andrew-vaughn/
  8. This might be coincidence or just how the drafts have fallen but it seems like they've gone more for high floor hitters and high ceiling pitchers. That may date back to Stearns though.
  9. Would Brewers consider sending Adamczewski to AZ fall league? I know they opened up the player pool a few years ago but have no idea if Brewers send younger guys there or not.
  10. Definitely not a turd. It was good but not great. Some terrific word play but the pacing was off. Also, the original had the benefit of spoofing real cop shows. This felt like a copy of a copy if that makes sense. But overall, I liked it. I think Liam Neeson was terrific. He played the straight guy perfectly. I'll probably catch it again when it streams.
  11. Yes we all know you wanted to trade Sal Frelick for Ryan McMahon
  12. Correa? But he has been asking to move to third for two years and ended up approving the trade to Houston because they said he was going to play 3rd.
  13. You are making some fair points but I just don't see a whole lot out there that would have improved the team. Just looking at the bats that were traded Suarez definitely would have helped. Correa wanted to play 3rd and had a no trade clause. O'Hearn has been a sub 700 OPS player since the beginning of June. McMahon has a sub 600 OPS away from Coors Field this year, Josh Naylor would probably have helped but I don't know if he fit positionally. Then you're into Bader, Hayes, Mullins territory and none of them would have helped. The one guy who seemed like a fit was Willie Castro. He would have been a slight upgrade as a backup utility guy but not much of one. Same with Ramon Urias. Neither of those guys is probably gonna move the needle much if anything.
  14. should have traded him when we had the chance
  15. He was good in AA too. I take El Paso stats with a grain of salt.
