I feel like the wave is better suited to a "bowl" shaped arena like lambeau or college football. Baseball stadiums are oddly shaped for it. -
This was me until I had a fresh garden-grown tomato. I love them and fresh cherry tomatoes, but still cannot stand anything bought at the grocery store or in a can. Store bought tomatoes and garden grown tomatoes aren't even the same thing as far as I'm concerned. Totally different genus, phylum, species.

I think I'd rather have Eduardo Escobar over LeMahieu. Same age, more versatility. LeMahieu was pretty bad away from Coors field this year. Asdrubal Cabrera is also a free agent.

Buehler is very good. He's not Max Scherzer.

The problem is it's really dangerous to use your only back-up catcher in any close game. You burn him as a PH and he's done. What if Kratz gets hurt or ejected? Disaster. Same thing if you bring Pina in to catch but he gets hurt or something. I'm not sure that's a risk they can afford to take, even if Pina is hitting really well lately. That's the risk you take when a loss means your season is over. Both teams used both catchers in the extra inning game the other day.

Except I didn't even make a big deal of it. I said Granderson should have more than 3 plate appearances and get a start against the RHP. It's the Braun Police that have to overreact to anything like that who made a big deal of it. It's not a hot take, a mere symptom of Braun hate, or a fixation. There's sufficient evidence to support the argument. It's debatable at worst, but some people here are trying to turn any disloyalty to Braun into something sacrilegious. This is your evidence: Braun has been swinging away at the first pitch at the worst possible time on a regular basis and has taken 58 pitches this series by my count. That's less than 3 per plate appearance. Granderson is a more disciplined hitter whose approach translates better to postseason baseball, and even his regular season production has been every bit as good as Braun's for 2 years now. He's taken 17 pitches in just 3 appearances, made good contact on a regular basis, and nearly came up with one of the greatest clutch HR's in Brewers history in his first at-bat. He also has a lot more experience in RF than Braun, allowing Yelich to stay in LF. It's not very convincing because it's all based on teeny, tiny samples. The team as a whole hasn't taken a lot of pitches so it stands to reason that's by design - attack early in the count. And if your argument is that a guy one time nearly hit a clutch home run so he should now start then I don't know what to tell ya.

Granderson career vs RHP = 850 OPS Braun career vs RHP = 860 OPS For the year Granderson has a 798 OPS against RHP and Braun 745 (difference due to OBP, SLG is identical). The problem becomes later in the game when you have to sub out Granderson against a lefty. Braun hits both sides well. Probably depends on the opponent and might not make a big difference but it's not really cut and dried.

They were going to hit for Kershaw You don't know that. Their bullpen is cooked too. After the drilling Roberts took for letting Buehler hit in a similar situation the other day, I can totally see them pinch hitting.

2 games in a row CC makes the wrong call on the IBB I can see not doing it in the 5th inning. Lot of game left. And as others have said they'd have just pinched for Clay.
