"Last year, the Bucks shooting guard took just 18 percent of his shots at the rim, 52 percent from mid-range, and 30 percent from behind the 3-point line. This year, his attempts in the mid-range have been drastically decreased. Thus far, Middleton is taking just 24 percent of his shots from that in-between zone, a range where he was among the league’s elite last season, and bumped up his shots at the rim and from deep considerably. He is taking 24 percent of his shots at the rim, the highest percentage of shots there for him since his rookie season six years ago in Detroit, and a staggering 52 percent of his shots from 3-point range."
