  1. Rams just went for it on their own 42 on 4th and 1 up 2 with under 2 min left. QB sneak got the 1st down. Ballsy move, McVay! Love it.
  2. Day off before... will have rest after this series. Not gonna hurt anything. Yeah and if Dodgers don't sweep it might be several days before the next series starts. Maybe wants to keep him sharp?
  3. Do you have anything to add or are you just going to critique my opinion without sharing one yourself. Hard to argue our offense hasn’t been terrible...and we ain’t really playing against great pitchers. The pitching has been pretty solid, but their offense looks tired and defeated. I will say our composure and mental game has been on point in this series. Marquez is a great pitcher. If you can't at least enjoy this series I don't really know what to tell you. Brewers have won 10 in a row...leading in game 11. Enjoy the ride, dude.
  4. Yah, hard to ignore that. We aren’t playing a postseason team right now...more like the Orioles. The Dodgers are way better than this...way better. I hope we turn things around by Friday cause we won’t win games against the Dodgers playing like this.
  5. Not upset, just pointing out that our crappy offense is still crappy. The Rockies gifted us those runs. But...we scored two runs.
  6. That's the worst laughing emoji ever. It looks like a hungry hungry hippo. https://i.gifer.com/3443.mp4
  7. Blackmon is making like $95 million the next five years. I have a feeling the Rockies will regret that.
  8. The entire state of Wisconsin is pretty loyal to the Brewers and overall the interest is there regardless of record. From what I have heard there is a pretty good pull of fans from the upper peninsula and from what I have always seen Twins don't really pull from western Wisconsin at all. That is one thing Wisconsin is good at...cheering for the in state teams. I think the dome might play a part in that. More people from far away can make plans to come to a game and know that the game will be played. So bus trips and big group outings for people an hour or more away might be more popular than in the County Stadium days.
  9. Makes sense. Also makes sense in that Woodruff and Burnes (and maybe Peralta?) won't be able to pitch 180+ innings next year.
  10. I go fishing way up north every August and without fail every bar we ever go in has the Brewer game on if they are playing regardless of the team's record. Been like this for 15 years.
  11. I mean, it has to be HighHeat19, doesn't it? Well played! 50/50 it's HighHeat19 although Brewers could change their mind last minute. Other teams are interested as well.
  12. I think Knebel can definitely go an inning. He went back to back to back 1 inning stints recently on Sept 23, 24, 25 and he only threw 25 pitches yesterday despite going 1 and 2/3 innings.
  13. Article today in JSOnline that cutting Nelson was the right move. You had to know people were going to fill their pants after Jordy's first decent game of the year.
  14. Are you talking about back to back days or back to back games? May have missed one, but could only find 4 times that Hader pitched back to back days (4/21-/22, 6/26-6/27, 8/4-8/5, and 8/29-8/30). If my math is correct he threw a total of 5 innings in those 4 games (the 2nd game), gave up 1 ER, 3H, 2BB, and 8 K. Also in the preceding game he only threw a full inning once (on 4/21), the other 3 preceding games he threw 1/3 of an inning, 1/3 of an inning, and 2/3 of an inning. Burnes 2nd day stats are 3 2/3 IP, 1 ER, 3 H, 0 BB, 2 K I was going off the "days rest" table on Baseball Reference which I believe is calendar days. Looking at Hader's game log he pitched back to back days on: April 21, 22 June 26, 27 Aug 4,5 Aug 19,20 Aug 29,30 I also only counted up four the first time I looked at it. Missed one of the August ones. https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/gl.fcgi?id=haderjo01&t=p&year=2018
  15. For reference sake, Hader went back to back 5 times this year and Burnes did it 4 times.
