  1. You can still be disappointed that he doesn’t get a ball in play with a guy on third with less than two outs. Both mid sets can exist. It’s not lost on many what Yelich has done for this ball team. Yeah the rah rah see the positive in every single failure thing is getting old. It is a live game. We can get mad at stuff. Right but thinking Yelich just needs to "take it to heart" is also annoying. Be disappointed if you want but be realistic.
  2. I think it is safe to say no one is winning the World Series without scoring runs. That being said, lets give the pitching a little bit of credit.
  3. Can't really argue with the results so far. Dodgers have the best offense in the NL and they've been totally neutralized.
  4. Was he? Or did he warm up prior to the game? I'm not watching so don't know.
  5. I have deleted a few posts. Please move on from that play. You do not win the anonymous internet posting battle in the 1st inning. Bide your time, maintain leverage and strike in innings 7 through 9. The Greeks knew this, the Carthaginians knew this....now you know it.
  6. Huh...was this the plan all along? The ole Jennings in St Louis plan?
  7. I had one from Sprint at my last apartment. I think it was called an Air Rave or something. I was in a garden unit and got zero signal. They sent it for free and it didn't cost anything monthly either. I just had to send it back when I moved. Worked great.
  8. Vlad Jr. is so good.
  9. I am guessing the scouting report says to attack Hill early in the count as you are more likely to see a good pitch. We'll see if that trend continues.
  10. I also predict that the board will have a spirited discussion about at least one pitching move the Brewers make.
  11. Exactly. The lack of use of Aaron Jones this year, and especially last night, was horrible. He is electric with the ball in his hands. I don't care if he isn't as good as Williams at blitz pickup. If you have a running threat, the defense isn't going to be blitzing the heck out of you. Normally Rodgers destroys blitzes. He must really not have a connection with those rookies. I think some of it is the offense though. Too much freelancing.
  12. "for the series, the bottom three spots in the order for the Brewers are hitting .250/.333/.594 with three homers in 36 PA"
  13. If Hernandez wants the crowd to be loud he should encourage his teammates to get hits and score runs and not commit errors or base running gaffes.
  14. Curious what others think of this article: https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2801077-packers-put-aaron-rodgers-in-impossible-situation-and-he-keeps-delivering?utm_source=cnn.com&utm_campaign=editorial&utm_medium=referral In particular: Rodgers' ability to overcome nearly any situation is his greatest quality. He's never received enough help compared to other organizations that feature legitimate franchise quarterbacks. Ben Roethlisberger could lean on Hines Ward, Antonio Brown, Heath Miller and Le'Veon Bell during different points in his career. Drew Brees has more weapons than nearly any quarterback in the league right now, including the league's best backfield. Tom Brady once set NFL records throwing to Randy Moss, and he's had the ultimate security blanket in tight end Rob Gronkowski for the last nine seasons. Green Bay's future Hall of Fame signal-caller has never had the same luxury. It's only gotten worse over time. Donald Driver and Greg Jennings were a nice duo at the start of Rodgers' career, and Jordy Nelson developed into his favorite target over the years, but Green Bay's utter lack of investment around the quarterback is startling. Jordy Nelson James Jones Greg Jennings Randall Cobb Davante Adams All very good receivers. NFL HOF? Probably not but all had 1000 yard seasons (well Adams was @997 but he's very capable of that). Not to mention JerMichael Finley who would have been a top 10 tight end before the injury. I don't disagree that they've been bad about turning over the receivers recently but on the whole I think his options have been pretty good.
