The thing is though, the Brewers have been in talks with pretty much every pitcher out there so if they sign one it will have been a long process....not reactionary.

To me Suter is a "nice to have in case" guy but not someone I want to put in the rotation in permanent marker. -

Certainly a case to be made here. Look at KC back in 2015. Their staff and offense were fairly mediocre but they had a great defense and a great bullpen. Not saying that's the Brewers roadmap but there is more than one way to build a winning team. -

Sorry, this isn't the place for that. Hope you can come back and talk baseball but it will be on the terms of the boards rules not yours. My new company has a very generous retirement plan. dollar for dollar 4% match and a 5% match at the end of the year. So even if all you're doing is putting away 4% you are more or less saving 13% of your income. So I can totally see how someone who started there as a 22 year old could retire at 45 or so just on their 401K assuming they were saving like 18% of their income every check.

I don't think the pitching staff is all that weak. It could be improved for sure but it's not awful.

Didn't need 4K or 20 cameras to tell me that.

I think the thing with debatable catches is that every game has super slo mo 4K, 19 camera angles, etc. So when you go frame by frame any little imperfection gets amplified. I thought both of those plays were catches and wouldn't have even been debatable 20 years ago.

Speaking as a mod, it's getting really hard to keep up with all the jerks posting on here recently - and speaking frankly, the people clamoring for mod intervention have been some of the main culprits as far as escalating things. Only reason I've been able to keep up today is that I'm working on a lecture and have been at my computer. Literally deleted at least a dozen posts today alone simply because people have to get in the last word or because they lack the ability to act like an adult. Ban hammer is coming for those that can't avoid excessive snark, condescension, and/or politics.
