  1. potential backup
  2. GF just bought what she thought was a new Lenovo computer. She turned it on and accessed the internet and got some weird audio message saying "your computer has been blocked....." We looked up the message and it seems to be a malware thing. How in the hell does that get on a new computer? Did they sell us a refurbished one?
  3. Santana is going to be 25 next year and won't be eligible for free agency until 2022. He could hit 40 bombs next season if he stays healthy. Price tag should be high.
  4. Yeah, I just don't see this ending well for Joe Investor: 1,000 people own 40% of the bitcoin market https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-12-08/the-bitcoin-whales-1-000-people-who-own-40-percent-of-the-market
  5. This is from the Coinbase website: For supported countries and payment methods, you can sell or "cash out" your bitcoin for your local currency and have the proceeds deposited in your linked bank account or local currency wallet.
  6. Really looking forward seeing what Hiura can do over a full season.

  8. Futures market for bitcoin kicks off next week. Guessing there will be a TON of short activity. And random non-financial friends on Facebook are starting to post about bitcoin. That's when you know it's time to cut and run.
  9. I hate to be a science nerd at a football party, but its actually F = M * A. Yikes. I knew that!
  10. Looking just at last year it appears he was really unlucky at home and really lucky on the road (.350 BABIP at home and .217 on the road). A lot of the other numbers were pretty similar.
  11. Is it dubbed in English or do I have to read it? I ask because my babble fish died. You can choose! Dub it in english, read english subtitles, or practice your german.
  12. If anyone liked this and can also deal with foreign films, there's a German series on Netflix right now called Dark that seems intriguing. I only watched episode 1 but I really enjoyed it.
  13. Probably depends on his pro day. The dbacks weren't really tested all that much because of UW's pass rush and the fact that they only played a few decent QB's all year.
  14. Hearing rumblings that Nick Nelson is going pro. Wonder if he'll play in the bowl game?
  15. Williams and Jones look like they might be a pretty fun backfield duo.
  16. There's always a lot of woulda/coulda/shoulda after a close loss. That Hornibrook INT in the 1st Q was an absolute killer but UW was handled upfront the whole game. Little pressure on the QB and the UW run game went nowhere. Toughest part is that OSU had three good plays on offense (maybe four) they just all went for home runs.
  17. spread is down to 4
  18. I like UW's chances. Different feel to this game than the one in 2014.
  19. UW's 1 loss resume would be better than Alabama's....won't help though. Gotta win.
  20. It's not like this is a 30 year old dude that throws 89mph. This guy throws legit heat and has a wicked slider. I think the Brewers are in a great position to take a flyer on a guy like this. I don't see how some one else at the bottom of the 40 man is any better of a gamble than Baker.
  21. Definitely has a high ceiling. Good low risk move.
  22. Wisconsin was actually favored in that game. Guess who's favored this year? OSU. Tables will be turned!
  23. 1962 I believe.
  24. Did they get rid of that indoor pool park thing at the downtown Hilton?
  25. I guess everyone has a different thought on what is considered a long distance. Most years when we stayed in Phoenix, we stayed at a place near the South Mountains (SW of downtown). It's about a 35 minute drive from there to Goodyear. I don't think that is "waaaay out" there. If you stay in Scottsdale (pretty much opposite end of Phoenix), it's about a 40 minute drive. That's not that crazy. Many of the FL parks are much farther apart than that. Depends on traffic. Scottsdale to Goodyear can take well over an hour (it's 52 min drive as I type this at 8am Phoenix time).
