They had totally gotten away from that three point game and the second they go back to it they lose. Although the defensive lapses tick me off more than the offense. Just not ready to play at all. Terrible game.

I've been pleasantly surprised by Jennings so far. Granted the three teams the Bucks have played have been junk but he's been very efficient so far this year. He's not taking as many shots and the ones he takes aren't being forced. He's got about a 5:2 assist to TO ratio and he's getting to the line. Just needs to start hitting his open threes. I'll be curious to see how this team does against some stiffer competition. Skiles may have a mutiny on his hands if he continues to limit Gooden's and Jackson's minutes but if the team is winning the whining will fall on deaf ears....hopefully.

Technically it's an eve not a day. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif I was going to go see Cage The Elephant in Chicago but changed my mind and decided that dinner and board games with a small group of friends would be better. I did the "club" thing for a while in my 20's but eventually realized how massively overrated NYE is. Best celebrations I've had are with a small group of friends sitting around someone's apartment playing cards and listening to tunes.

"small market" only applies if the owner uses it as an excuse. Attanasio has basically operated the Brewers as a medium sized market team.

Impressive research but also not all that meaningful. For one, there's no basis of comparison. Who did Cleveland, Boston, LA play over that same time frame? Secondly, you use overall record of their opponents which doesn't really apply. A better method would be record at the time they played them. Thirdly, you don't take into account margin of victory/loss (i.e. pythagorean) The fact remains that they had a 29 - 12 record. No other mediocre team in the NBA came close to that.

IncendiesDuring the reading of their mother's will, a set of Canadian twins discover they have a father and brother living in the middle east. They set off to deliver a pair of letters per their mother's dying wishes. On the way they learn more than they probably want to about their family history. This was an Academy Award nominee for best foreign language film and it certainly is a very solid picture. It takes a while to get into and a few of the plot twists seem sort of contrived but on the whole it's very good.

I don't think Melvin has ever traded high on a guy who wasn't about to be a big money free agent. I would love for him to trade both Wolf and Plush but I fear he won't let go of either one.

No reason to be a jerk. They started off slowly and then caught fire once Salmons arrived. If you think that was a fluke so be it but the stats and record say other wise. They beat some elite teams that second half.

One of the best records the 2nd half of the season (29 - 12). They were rolling right up until Bogut's injury. 2nd half records: Orlando 33 - 8 Cleveland 31 - 10 Utah 30 - 11 Phoenix 30 - 11 Milwaukee 29 - 12

That team two years ago was good. I've never seen ball movement like that in the NBA. It was so refreshing to see. I hate the iso game. It's soooooo boring. Too bad Hammond had to ruin it by getting black holes in Maggette and Gooden. All that team needed was a lights out shooter.

I think I'm going to see Cage the Elephant New Year's Eve in Chicago. They play Milwaukee tomorrow night I think so if anyone goes and can post a review that'd be awesome. -
UWM looks solid and well balanced. They will be tough to beat in the Horizon. UW needs to get its act together...especially Taylor. His shot selection leaves a lot to be desired. Nice to see some inside scoring from Evans though and the team as a whole seems to be driving more and catching some foul calls. Just need to gel a little more.

????? When talking straight up value for value we probably gave up more than we got but it makes sense trading something we didn't need for something we did. Not sure what the confusion is? KRod at his contract is a bad deal but he is going to help the team quite a bit if he stays as another example.The way you worded it was very confusing. It helps the team therefore how could we have not gotten even value? Wouldn't giving up more than we received make the team worse?

Glad I waited until I finally watched that last episode to read this thread. The twist at the end was great....although after reading how the comic played out I wouldn't have minded that either.
