  1. Dwight's line about retracting his, uh, boddy part had me rolling. I enjoyed the episode.
  2. What's even more amazing is that A-Rod will be able to get those numbers in half a season!
  3. Another neat spot is Flagstaff - although that might be a little cool for your taste. I've heard really good things about Santa Fe too - it's more artsy and bohemian than Albuquerque from what I understand. They filmed The Tau of Steve there.
  4. Tucson sucks. I lived in Phoenix for four years and it's pretty cool (well, not in the summer) although I'm not into the car culture so it sort of got old for me. San Diego would be another option - great weather year round and lots to do. Plenty of walkable neighborhoods.
  5. My first thought was Siouxsie Sioux but I don't think it's her. Kinda looks like a zombified version of Nora Jones.
  6. I don't put any stock into that test at all. It was hand timed which is really inaccurate - not to mention there's no way to know if anyone really tried.
  7. I think the movie came before the music venue - in other words the Shank Hall that exists now was named after the Shank Hall from the movie. I could be wrong about that though.
  8. I wonder if they'll go to eleven?
  9. Russ, That's pretty much been eliminated now. I agree there was a lot of excess early on but they actually have a direction now. I'd rent last year's season and you should be good to go.
  10. Maybe they figure Cub fans won't be as likely to wait in the cold weather for tickets.
  11. His spray chart says he hits to all fields....last year anyway: http://minorleaguesplits.com/cgi-bin/pl.cgi (insert Salome's name and select spray chart)
  12. In a way it's almost as if the story arc is finally in ACT II. The first three (four?) seasons were setting up the characters and their motivations and now we're finally moving the story along and adding some depth. I'm guessing ACT III will be this "war" that Widmore mentioned. I'm enjoying the season so far. It's almost like you have to look at several episodes in retrospect to gain an appreciation for them as a whole.
  13. I wonder what kind of pro Thabeet will make? Seems like they don't utilize him enough on offense.
  14. Crap, I would have had that right away. Shoulda opened this earlier.
  15. I don't have a favorite poster here because I hate Brewerfan.net and all it's supporters.
  16. Taint McFadden
  17. Lebron James is pretty good.
  18. Thanks, Jihad (by the way, nice article on Escobar's BABIP).
  19. Why do you want to be a lawyer? Only reason I ask is that I know a lot of miserable lawyers that are stuck in their jobs because they have 6 figure student loans to pay off.
  20. So does Ken Pomeroy. He had UW losing that game against Minny until yesterday. Now UW is a better than 50/50 shot to win.
  21. The minor league splits links didn't work for me, FYI. Ah crap. Well you can get to the player search from the page I linked to anyway. I thought that was Jeff Sackman's site. Thanks. I'll contact him.
  22. I've been looking at BABIP numbers on www.minorleaguesplits.com and their stats are different than www.baseball-reference.com The total ABs and total hits are different. Anyone use minor league splits? Anyone know of a way to let the dude know his stats are wrong? Or can let me know if I'm misinterpreting something? Here's Taylor Green as an example: http://www.minorleaguesplits.com/cgi-bin/pl.cgi http://minors.baseball-re...com/players.cgi?pid=31805 or Escobar http://www.minorleaguesplits.com/cgi-bin/pl.cgi http://minors.baseball-re....com/players.cgi?pid=4466
  23. Braminano, Have you seen an Armando Diaz at IO in Chicago? It's pretty freakin' funny. One of the guys from the Sonic commercials is a regular.
  24. Yep, still watching. I like the fact that the show is answering some questions this season.
