He switch hits, plays 3rd and 1st (and used to play up the middle too I think), has some power and can take a walk. He's stuck behind Longoria in TB and comes cheap. I think he'd make a much better option than either Lamb or Hall and would be a great guy off the bench at the very least. What would it take to get him?

Theriot notwithstanding, how many MLB hitters use that approach these days? I'd say it's a very small percentage and usually guys with no power.

It seems like every year for the last three years or so we've had a big discussion on why the Cubs will be worse next season than they were the previous year and every year we're wrong. Well I'm just going to assume the Cubs will be really good this year and they play over their heads because that is their nature - except in the playoffs.

My sink has kind of a odd smell coming from it. I haven't been dumping dead squirrels in there - at least not recently. It's just this stale smell. How can I get rid of it other than getting a new sink?

Their defense is pretty porous this year. They allow too much penetration and that opens everything up. I think the on the ball defense from the guards is really bad this year - and they miss Stiemsma and Butch down low.

It'd be nice if the Bucks could have Redd and Bogut completely healthy for a decent stretch to see where they really stand. I don't think Redd was completely healed when he came back and just about the time he did recover Bogut started having back issues.
