    Yeah, I don't get the bunt either. I know Ned isn't a Jamesian by any means, but playing for one run in the third inning? Granted, Pods is normally is pretty good bunter, but jeez.

    Parra, Jones, Hardy, Kryzel.....these guys are/have been hurt for much of the year. The farm teams are doing fine given the guys playing down there. Relax, have a brew, be happy.

    Wow. It' s one friggin' loss. You guys are overreating just a tad. Over the course of 162, you're going to get a few of these. The Crew just took 2 of 3 from one of the best teams in baseball at their place. Be happy. Bullpens blow leads every once in a while - it's not like they were up 7 - 2. If it becomes commonplace then freak out until then, relax, have a brew and watch the Astro series.

    OK, I can accept any offensive argument you want to give me for your man-crush on Ginter, but this is ridiculous. He goes in AS hard as anyone but not harder. Don't let your love for him cloud your objectivity.

    This quote is a little disconcerting: Fans around the stadium are starting to get mighty displeased at Weeks, Gwynn, and Fielder (not so much on the latter, now that he's gotten hot), promised by all the hype that this trio would easily lead their Stars to a first half title, and now cynical at their chances, and aching for an end of the Kremblas regime......... I can back up some of their complaints by saying that I've seen Weeks and Fielder lolligag and not run out the bases during infield practice and BP, where Tony goes in the cage every day to practice and runs everything out in field practice....... Gwynn is a hard worker and is trying to prove he belongs in Double-A....... I've always believed this team was underachieving and while Gwynn is trying, and may be playing at a level too high, Weeks and Fielder seem to think the effort in practice is a waste........ So much for that rant.

    I love this pick. I like guys that aren't physically gifted but still produce. I bet this guy projects as utility but that's fine. He's smart, he's solid in the field and disciplined at the plate. Just the kind of guy you need off the bench. I think this and Solome are the sleepers (and maybe the 1st baseman from Washington)

    On Milwaukee TV he was quoted as saying, "I just want to play baseball. It's not about the money". The story went on to say he could be signed and throwing in AZ as early as next week.

    On Bradley's thrown ball sailing over his head "I never saw it," said Brewers left fielder Geoff Jenkins. "If he would have hit me, I would have snapped." Assuming Geoff didn't get hurt, this would have been really fun to see.
