Weeks unfortunately has just showed brief glimpses of himself an then has reverted to the guy that just doesn't seem able to get good wood on the ball. If he got back to the player he can be, the Brewers are in great shape. But it's almost August and can they take that gamble? Graffanino has done a lot of nice things since becoming a Brewer. But what he offers, occasional power, decent defense, low OBP, doesn't fit what the Brewers need which is a higher OB guy who can hit around .300 with occasional pop. Besides, the Brewers lack RH bench punch when Graffy starts. That guy is out there and available and his name isn't Mark Loretta, its Ronnie Belliard. If the Twins ever got realistic and waived the white flag being 9 back in division and 7.5 in wild card, Luis Castillo is another guy who would give the Brewers what they need.
