  1. Plus a walk and he threw an absolute bullet to nail the guy going for 2.
  2. Lucroy is the one bat I seem to recall coming straight from AA, but that was more due to need.
  3. https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/mlb/2018/06/20/brandon-morrow-cubs-injury-pants/717293002/ At least it didn't happen sneezing. I'll take any help we can get.
  4. The point isn't LF vs RF, the point is he's going to be playing a lot of OF, something that didn't seem possible when the season started.
  5. So Braun flew out to LA to have the cryotherapy on his thumb again. Looks like we're going to see more Thames in RF.
  6. It popped up in TheScore app. It was by Getty Images Sport. Seems legit.
  7. Article popped up on my phone that says the Brewers could get Syndergaard for Aguilar, Phillips and Burnes. I think the Mets would laugh at that one.
  8. Did Counsell make out that Colorado Springs lineup? 3 catchers playing and an infielder in left field.
  9. I believe the magic number is now 1 - with three games left. I saw E's after everyone in their division, so I thought maybe they clinched.
  10. 10 players drafted in the first 2 rounds of the draft, including 6 first rounders. And did they clinch with the Mobile loss?
  11. So Villar isn't playing short. Perez has only played 4 innings of SS this year and is barely playing at all lately, so I don't see him at SS regularly. If it's not Arcia or Sogard, it looks like it will be Miller. Of course Braun says he can still play anywhere but 3B.
  12. So Woodruff won't be the 5th starter on the 19th, unless someone gets hurt. Does Peralta get another shot?
  13. Does Rosiak read Brewerfan.net? https://www.jsonline.com/story/sports/mlb/brewers/2018/06/07/where-has-domingo-santanas-power-gone/677247002/
  14. I saw the outfield comment in an article, too. He should really be 5th or 6th on the OF depth chart. And good timing, since Aguilar is coming back down to Earth.
  15. It's nice to draft some bats that also could be good defenders.
  16. They could also spot start someone on the 12th and wait until the 19th before they would need a 5th starter/Davies.
  17. He has played a grand total of 18 games at 2B in the minors so far. We really need to see him play 2B the majority of remaining games this year.
  18. Write in campaign for Aguilar.
  19. https://www.jsonline.com/story/sports/mlb/brewers/2018/06/01/brewers-promote-top-prospect-keston-hiura-class-aa-biloxi/661088002/
  20. I have no questions at all about his bat. Will he be able to play an average 2B and be healthy enough to play it every day? And that Biloxi team is going to be ridiculous.
  21. I'd be inclined to not do the extension for Yelich. At the time of the extension, Braun was a perennial all star and never played less than 150 games. And he seemed to have the body type that would age well.
  22. Way too early hypothetical: So Yelich will be 30 at the end of his deal. Braun was 31 at the end of his similar first deal. Would you give Yelich a Braun-like extension (5 year/$100 million)?
  23. How about a double-digit lead by the all star break?
  24. It sounds like Saladino is going to get more playing time and that Arcia is still around because of his defense. https://www.jsonline.com/story/sports/mlb/brewers/2018/05/24/notes-tyler-saladino-earns-more-playing-time-swinging-hot-bat/639455002/
