  1. The Brewers are 10-3 when Braun isn't playing.
  2. Villar maybe a case of needing to be more aggressive. It seems like he takes a bunch of pitches and then ends up striking out anyway.
  3. Would they consider sending Arcia down to get things worked out and ride Saladino for a while?
  4. The current 8 man bullpen has a combined 1.97 ERA, .9 WHIP and 10.7 K/9 innings
  5. https://brewers.mlblogs.com/brewers-help-kick-off-milwaukee-habitat-build-season-4dbcb6c064b5 I would expect Braun to hurt himself swinging a hammer, so he'll probably miss more time.
  6. The way Braun's been banged up along with the total lack of coverage and his history, I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see Braun for a couple more weeks.
  7. Aren't they 2 over the limit now? And now Peralta is on his way and another pitcher could be coming in a couple days.
  8. Too bad Babe Suter doesn't get to bat in potentially his last start.
  9. Franklin barely caught in the minors, so I wouldn't expect it to be much of an option for the Brewers.
  10. Good thing for depth. I just realized that 10 out of 43 players are on one of the DLs.
  11. Sounds like Braun is headed for the DL, but not Perez.
  12. Nelson, Anderson, Davies and Thames on the DL and we're first in place in mid-May.
  13. Isn't it just replacing Franklin as the third catcher?
  14. i can't ever recall the brewers recalling an injured player (not to report) and putting him on the 60-day disabled list. johnny hellweg was a candidate a few years back, but the brewers never took advantage of such. Did we do something like this with Yhonathan Barrios? I don't think we recalled him, but we put him on the DL in Spring Training so we could have the extra roster spot? I think Barrios was hurt before he was optioned, so they didn't have a choice.
  15. Jefress is certainly the top choice to come in with runners on, which is probably why he hasn't seen many save opportunities.
  16. I'll be very happy to see Barnes bumped down a notch. I just don't trust him in high pressure situations.
  17. As long as Logan never faces a righty, he could be useful. His splits are worse than Drake's.
  18. I assume Phillips stays until Knebel is ready to return, but what about when Logan returns? He's probably worse than anyone else in the bullpen right now.
  19. I don't think they bring up Phillips for just 1 day. I bet they want another left-handed bat on the bench. But it will be interesting to see what other move is coming.
  20. He was so filthy last night, I had to take a shower after the game.
  21. Brewers have a .714 winning percentage against the non-Cubs teams. Only 11 left against the Cubs this year. Win .714 against the rest and that gives 103 wins.
  22. Miley has another rehab start and then they have to decide to fish or cut bait. Sounds like Miley and Logan may be up soon, which means Woodruff's stay is short lived.
  23. I imagine some players may be reluctant to use the flaps if it affects their batting. I do wonder if it affected Villar, who started using them the last month of 2016.
  24. 4-1 The lone loss when all three started was the home opener against the Cardinals. More importantly, they are 9-2 with Yelich playing.
  25. I could see them going with Sogard and Perez and bringing back a pitcher.
