  1. Oh what I wouldn't give for a 1-2-3 inning.
  2. So all you second guessers, tell me who you put in to pitch the bottom of the tenth? I say Cappellan, but keep Kolb up just in case.
  3. Nice job Carlos...now get him over, GET HIM IN!
  4. If we can come back and win this thing it will be as good of a comeback victory as we've had this year. 99 times out of 100 we lose in that situation. Come on guys, you need to pick up d-bow.
  5. Great win tonight. But how bad is our pitching when we've got Weeks, Cirillo, Koskie, Clark, Miller and Fielder who are all red hot surrounding Jenkins, Lee and Hall and we're still only a game over .500. I've never seen a Brewers lineup as good as this one. It really says wonders to how bad our pitching has been.
  6. The bad news is that Davis is as bad as Bush on the road; and not to mention he walked 9 the last time he faced the Reds. I'll say 8-6 Reds tonight. As usual, hope I'm wrong! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  7. Good luck with that...I have a feeling by the time you come back this board will be having a complete meltdown. The rest of the week looks anything but promising.
  8. Absolute must win tomorrow (part http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/glasses.gif . If we get swept in Cincy we're headed towards a 3-7 roadtrip, at best.
  9. Only the Milwaukee Brewers would manage to have their worst pitching staff in years during the same season where they have their best lineup in years. I mean, even during the 100 loss seasons our bullpen was always considered above average. I know injuries have killed us but it's really unfortunate that it had to happen this year. Anyone doubt that it is gonna take at least 8 runs to win a game on this road trip (on a day when Capuano is not pitching)? We'll be lucky to win one of the next four after today. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif
  10. Yeah, leading the majors in HR's and second in the NL in average...what was I thinking? This is one of the best lineups in the NL, they should be able to pound the Reds pitching.
  11. Of course just when you think JDLR has turned the corner, he'll implode and give up 3 runs here. Cue the big inning for the Reds. My question, is how can our potent lineup only have 3 runs against the Reds garbage staff???
  12. Unfortunately I predict something similar to last night again...something along the lines of 11-4. I just don't have a good feeling about Eveland vs. the Reds lineup. Hope I'm wrong!
  13. The killer about losing tonight is that it's only going to get worse the next two games. I can only imagine what the Reds will do to Eveland tomorrow and after that, it's Davis who has the third worst road ERA in the NL. This series has sweep written all over it.
  14. Geez...I just realized that prior to last night the Twins were 5-16 on the road. There is NO EXCUSE for getting swept at home by the twins so we better come out sharp tomorrow.
  15. Just got back from the game. Yes, I left early as I didn't want to spend an hour and a half waiting in traffic in the parking lot. The parking lots were packed in tighter than I'd ever seen before...there was litterally one lane for cars to leave out of in our lot. Anyway, without reading the entire in-game thread, this game was a joke. I guess I'd rather get blown out than blow a 3 run lead in the ninth, but still, we looked like a AAA team out there tonight. Hendrikson better not ever suit up in a Brewers uniform again. He has NOTHING. Thankfully it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out and I'm sure Melvin will be giving him a one way ticket to Nashville soon. If there is anything positive that could've come out of tonight, it's that this has to send a message to Doug M. that Hendrickson and Eveland just aren't going to cut it....especially both in the same rotation. So here we are again, licking our wounds wondering how the Brewers can look so good and so bad in one week. I'm just thankful we weren't playing the Cubs because they're fans are ten times worse than Twins fans. Tomorrow is a must win. We can't head out on a 10 game road trip having lost three just been swept at home.
  16. If you watch the replay, Barrett never saw him slap the plate since he was flat on his back.
  17. Wow, according to the Brewers online ticket ordering, there are only scattered single tickets available for tonight.
  18. Hopefully Barrett gets about a 15 game suspension since that was a about as cheap as it gets. That would be a major blow to an already pathetic offense. I'll stand on record as well to say that I don't think Pierzynski intentionally bumped into Barrett.
  19. Tonight's game has 10-8 written all over it. Hopefully we have 10.
  20. Good night. If they come back to win this I'll get in line for playoff tickets tomorrow.
  21. Ugh. So that's what it's like to not come through in the clutch. I've kinda forgotten that feeling over the last week. Yep, it still sucks. Not sure what it is but I don't really feel the Brewers mojo tonight. Hope I'm wrong.
  22. So far I'm seeing the 1996 Brewers at the plate. Well, maybe not, but I told you this guy was filthy when he gets the ball over the plate. He's gonna be another Santana/Pedro.
  23. Weeks defense has been absolutely pathetic but what's with all the fans that want him to rack up the errors? Do we want him to set a ML record for errors in the season? I'm sure that will help his confidence. So what if he gets some hometown help.
