  1. Enough of Brady Clark already!!! The guy flat out cannot get it done this year. I know Koskie is slow as an old lady, but come on Brady...get the job done. Am I the only one wishing Hall would have been pinch hitting there? Or maybe if we had another outfielder to come off the bench, say Corey Hart???
  2. Clark better be a decoy in the on deck circle. I wanna see Billy Hall.
  3. Boy, that poor AB by Clark last inning looks a lot bigger now.
  4. Doesn't look like it's gonna matter. Lowe's gonna go for the complete game . Like I said, HR by Carlos!!!
  5. Alright, I've had just about enough of Brady Clark. We all know he can't hit for squat this year but if you're not gonna hit at least do the little things right. How about a simple bunt to move the runner to third??? Geez, a weak grounder to short was exactly what we didn't want there.
  6. Daron and Bill said Lowe left his last start vs. San Diego after throwing 6 scoreless innings and 84 pitches. Anyone know why he left so early last start? I'm hoping for the same thing tonight.
  7. Important game tonight if we want to win the series. I don't really have a good feeling about tomorrow's matchup which means we better win tonight and leave it up to Big Ben on Sunday.
  8. Pour it on Brewers! Nothing like beating the crap out of the Cubs!!!
  9. I doubt they will play today. The weather is absolutely nasty and I doubt the turf at Wrigley will be in good shape after 15 hours of rain.
  10. Brewers now 4-0 on Saturdays after today and 0-3 on Sundays. Doesn't bode well for tomorrow. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif Seriously though, if they do play tomorrow I could see us getting shutout. Just the way this team operates.
  11. So let's see...yesterday we scored 2 runs and had 12 strikeouts and today through 6 innings today we have 13 runs with just 2 strikeouts. Coincidence???
  12. Ok Doug, you got your runs so I don't wanna hear about this "tough luck" crap. Get it done. As a side note, anyone think the umps wanna get this one in fast? Rusch was getting 3 inches off both sides of the plate in the first.
  13. Yikes...it looks like it's gonna start raining soon and not stop for a long, long time. Here comes the flood
  14. Geez, that radar looks pretty bad for today. Seems as if we'd get about 3 innings in the books before a 2+ hour rain delay with that picture.
  15. Weather for today is fine. There will be no rain until tonight...tomorrow is another story. Today's Hourly Forecast Sunday's Hourly Forecast
  16. Somewhat of a big game today as I don't want to see the Crew needing to beat Zambrano to avoid a sweep (and clinch a winning month of April). ***Then again, after checking the weather tomorrow's game will almost certainly be rained out. The forecast is for 100% chance of rain throughout the day tomorrow. It would be nice to finish April at 13-11.
  17. I can't believe you are still defending the point that strikeouts are not bad.
  18. Is anyone else reminded of Rick Ankiel when thinking about Weeks' throwing errors? Rickie clearly has the talent to be out there but it appears to be a mental problem right now. On his throwing error tonight, you could almost see him taking too much time to think about the throw. It's sort of like a basketball player getting a wide open 3-pt shot...sometimes they think about it too much and brick it. Rickie needs to get his head screwed on straight and he should be ok.
  19. PHEW!!! That was a close one. Hat's off to Matt Wise for getting out of the bases loaded, no out jam only giving up one run. That inning had disaster written all over it after the 38th error of the season by Rickie. To get out of it with only one run crossing the plate was huge. It's now a best of five series to get out of April over .500.
  20. When things aren't going your way, those are the types of plays that happen.
  21. Is Giles gonna play tonight? We really gotta win tonight. Get back to .500 and start of the series with a win. I wonder what's the percentage of winning a series after a loss in game one....anyone? I can't imagine it's very good. The Brewers have lost game 1 of every series since the 5-0 start.
  22. That is by far the worst part about today. I could have lived with a split but losing 3 of 4 to the Reds at home? This team has been playing bad baseball ever since the 5-0 start. Since then, we've won 4 games in 15 days. I keep sitting here thinking "well, if we win today and then take 2 from the Braves and 2 from the Cubs we'll be back on track." But who's to say that we won't lose 2 vs. ATL and get swept by the Cubs? Call me overly dramatic, but this team is on the verge of falling apart. Our hitting only shows up half the time and our pen gives up runs every game. If it wasn't for the first five games we'd be talking about one of the worst teams in baseball (record wise). Ugh...ok rant over.
  23. I really hope people at the game are booing. Now we know how the Reds felt yesterday. Boooo!
  24. Alright, good night, game over, go home everybody. What a pathetic game. If it wasn't bad enough that our pitching has been absolutely awful today, we're getting shut out by a bad pitcher.
  25. I remember talk that if the Brewers did well in the retro uni's on Sundays that they would think about wearing them more often. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that they will never be worn on any day but Sunday and that after this year they will be gone forever. If you recall, the Brewers stunk on Sundays last year too. So far we're 0-2 and a hour or so away from 0-3.
