  1. -2 points for missing the point. Back to the topic at hand...
  2. People who state this seem to forget that the Brewers started out 24-10 last year, all without Braun. The Brewers then faded down the stretch and fell out of first place with Braun in Milwaukee.
  3. Sparky is a sharp guy. Really up to speed with the Brewers.
  4. 5-5 with 3 doubles and 6 RBI is more like turbo leaf-blower action if you ask me. Edit: had to throw the last hit in there.
  5. Let's not pretend that those players are on the same level as Sheets.
  6. A lot of this will be up to Mark Attanasio of course, but if you were Doug Melvin, who would you make a stronger push for this offseason, Sheets or Sabathia? Neither? Both?
  7. I can't believe that Weeks came in ahead of Uggla. That is nuts.
  8. Welcome to Milwaukee CC! Bring that 440ft homer bat with you, please.
  9. I think it's pretty much etched in stone that there is no chance that CC accepts a one or two year deal. He's looking for a Zito or Santana contract, and someone will give it to him.
  10. Cain was actually sent to AAA Nashville for a short period earlier this year and then went back down to A+, so a short stint in Huntsville wouldn't be unprecedented.
  11. I just want to let it be known that I will in fact NOT pee my pants for the Brewers this year. It was a one year deal only.
  12. Brantley and Errecart being hurt might be why Huntsville needs another bat, hence the Cain move.
  13. Craig Coshun just confirmed that LaPorta is not in the lineup for Huntsville tonight. We may have seen the last of LaPorta as Brewers property.
  14. If this year tells us anything it's that blogs are 100% correct each and every time.
  15. Hope you like Nashville, Joe Dillon.
  16. I checked early this morning and it was also TBA. (edit: nested quote --1992)
  17. That site must be getting slammed right now, the validation code box is taking a while to load for me.
  18. Just announced - Braun is starting!
  19. They did let Hart play 3B in Huntsville. There is a reason that he doesn't play there anymore.
  20. It's time for the percolator. It's time for the percolator. It's time for the percolator. It's time for the percolator.
  21. "Hi mkm13, just wondering who is that black guy in your ABBA avatar? " Looks like Alando Tucker to me.
  22. I was terribly hung over this morning, but still somehow managed to upload this video to Youtube. My uncle gets hit in the hand with a firecracker that exploded on the ground. I thought it was funny. He was fine, not a scratch on his hand.
  23. If Escobar is going to play any position in the majors, it will be SS. No ifs ands or buts. Hardy would move if anything.
  24. link Man found in WI basement covered in BBQ sauceComments 15 | Recommend 18 July 3, 2008 - 7:44AM APPLETON, Wisc. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A couple telephoned police in the middle of the night after finding a man in their basement covered head to toe in barbecue sauce. "He told the officers that it was urban camouflage," said the homeowner. This happened in Wisconsin. The homeowners say they woke up to whistling sounds. The husband grabbed his shotgun and headed toward the basement where he found the sauced-up intruder. He held him at gunpoint until police arrived. The guy told officers he covered himself in barbecue sauce because he wanted to hide from the government. He now faces burglary charges.
  25. Or Brooks Kieschnick, if you will. Slightly less optimistic maybe.
