Are you saying pitchers who smoke don't have the makeup to be good pitchers? Weed isn't the problem. It's the decision making. Whether or not you think that smoking weed should be against the rules, it is. And you need to abide by the rules to be able to play a game for millions of dollars. Do we even know for sure that it was weed, or is this conjecture?

College stats don't directly correlate with pro stats. If they did, Rickie Weeks would have been a multiple MVP winner, which people still thought he would be when he was in the minors. -

I remember this forum back when Rickie got drafted. So much optimism and hope for his future. His lightning quick wrists reminded some of Hank Aaron (!) It's a shame we never got to see the Rickie we all hoped we would.

I more had a problem with the guy the size of a tent sitting behind home plate on opening day. There was a normal sized guy sitting right next to him early in the game, but he was clearly uncomfortable due to the overlap from the neighboring seat. He moved and never returned and the large fellow had the seat next to him open for the remainder of the game. If you're that big you need to buy more than one ticket or possibly sit in a handicapped area. Don't ruin it for other people.

Lohse was 7th in Cy Young voting last year. That looks much better slotted in behind Gallardo than a handful of question marks. I don't get the all out hate.
