  1. My apologies Mass, just want to set this straight here: This was from the article after last year's infamous 60 yard dash. Hardy ran better than a lot of people thought he would. That said, I still think he just looks goofy when he runs, ala Ben Sheets, and that clouds our judgment of his true speed.
  2. Watching on mlb.tv - the Nationals broadcaster (not Don Sutton) just really butchered an advertisment for Jack Daniels. "Please drive...and please drink responsibly." Yikes. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  3. I can't look at or hear about Elijah Dukes without thinking about the video game comment.
  4. Also, just wanted to brag. I just won 5 black ink cartridges for my printer on Ebay for $9 shipped. Shipped. Yes. I win.
  5. Another Pet Peeve... When windows programs don't include an uninstall option in their start menu folder. Then I have to go into the control panel and click a handful more times. Damn I'm lazy when it comes to computers sometimes.
  6. Washington baseballs Are quivering in fear; a Plane lands at Dulles Oh come on... they should be flying him in to Reagan.
  7. It's like when Steve Wynn re-married his wife after a divorce... "The divorce just didn't work out."
  8. Building a new LAMP server as I type...joy.
  9. Hall starts vs LHP, Branyan starts vs RHP. It's a platoon, and it's well overdue.
  10. It's the ultimate battle between batter and pitcher, where fielders are rendered irrelevant. Rob Deer once held an esteemed perch amongst the 3TO Demigods, but now is the time for Russell the Muscle to reign supreme amongst all underlings in the 3TO universe.
  11. Don't count those chickens just yet. Just sayin...
  12. I need a haircut. I don't know where I would rather be... in bad haircut land or need a haircut land. Probably bad haircut land, because at least you tried.
  13. Your spelling is ridiculous. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif Sorry, pet peeve, and I think this may be the only thread where I can get away with this.
  14. It's been discussed on here a few times in the past.
  15. While waiting for my flight from Denver back home to Vegas tonight, an absolute stunner sat down right next to me at the gate. She was definitely model-class; she had the dress sense, the rail-thin body, and the charisma. We chatted for a little while and went and grabbed a beer from the nearest airport bar. Getting a beer was her choice. She actually was disappointed with how little beer she got in her draft Fat Tire. Don't judge a woman by her drink. Edit: sit ups and crunches really don't help a beer gut. They will basically just make muscle that lays low under the fat. Trust me. I know from experience. :/
  16. Oooh someone tested Russ on the stats... this is like an old schoolyard brawl between pencil-protector nerds in the courtyard.
  17. Darwin at work.
  18. Them's fightin words round these parts.
  19. Or how about when there are runners on 1st and 3rd with 1 out. Would you rather have the K or a groundball to short? It goes both ways.
  20. Photoshop threads almost always take off when the target pic is posted, because the 'shoppers themselves don't have to solicit you to do the choppage. You are giving them more work to do by having them ask you for the pic. Anyway.
  21. He's not even looking at the ball in the pic above, so that is not hard to imagine.
  22. You should just post the pic here and let the photoshoppers run wild.
  23. Straight vodka? Not likely for college-aged women.
  24. All of you with mlb.tv will know what I'm talking about. Mlb.tv has their own commercials between innings. Currently there is one running that has the most boring, banal, depressing music there could possibly be for a commercial that literally begs the consumer to "Keep Watching." Imagine a two-note, slow piano with long sustain. Imagine the tone to be something you'd expect to hear in a movie in which people walk in to a mental hospital and visit a family member. It's that bad. The general theme of the commercial goes like: Two notes... voiceover: "Willie Mays. (whatever date), 1969." Two more notes, the second just a little higher... voiceover: "600." Two more notes... And eventually it ends with Ken Griffey Jr saying, "Keep watching." Keep trying, mlb.tv.
