  1. That's my last name and my old high school football number. I might actually buy that. Nah.
  2. By "brought up" you mean "they aren't calling him." They won't touch him with a ten foot pole. And neither would I.
  3. Well, the sky is going to puke over Wrigley tomorrow. Not sure if it pays to be sick for that.
  4. I don't, I wish I had that kinda pull to get that. That kinda pull? It's in the newspaper, isn't it?
  5. I'm thinking that her private message box is going to get so full that it will bring down the whole site. Something needs to be done to counteract this obvious act of terrorism.
  6. The Cubs offseason additions have made them such a formidable force that they will transcend league play. They don't even have them listed as winning the World Series because they will win the next World Baseball Classic.
  7. The ESPN hexperts have made their picks for the upcoming season. Pedro Gomez made some picks that are sure to make the denizens of this site happy, except for one. NL Central: Brewers NL MVP: Prince Fielder NL Rookie of the Year: Manny Parra And... AL Wildcard: Cubs huh? http://img412.imageshack.us/img412/7108/oopsge4.gif link
  8. I'd imagine that the majority of people outside of Milwaukee and Cleveland have no idea, and couldn't care less.
  9. Yeah, shame on anyone who doesn't first go over the schedule of a sports team before deciding when to move. Yikes.
  10. ugh, I suck...did it work now? Haha, yeah that worked. That's hilarious, he turns his back to the pitcher. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif

  12. nnnh. Try again.
  13. I noticed at County when it was so cold early and late in the season that I didn't want to go to the game, that I was content in watching it on TV. I also noticed when the games were rained out, or even snowed out as they were in Cleveland last year. I noticed that Cleveland decided to come up and play their games where weather was not a deciding factor in whether or not the game was played. I guess you can't please everyone.
  14. That's your problem right there. Dealerships are the worst place to take a car for non-warranty work. Take it to a mom and pop shop and see what they tell you.
  15. It's got to be a seal on the block. A visual inspection would tell you exactly where it's coming from. $1100 just for parts is a real rape job for a GM car if it is just a seal, which I am guessing is the case. Are you burning oil? If that is the case, then the piston rings are probably failing and oil is getting through to the combustion chamber. That being the case, you would need some real work done on the bottom end. If you are just leaking oil, take it elsewhere and look for another opinion at a trustworthy shop. edit: posted this before I read your above post. Are they telling you that there are wear marks, or do you know this to be the case?
  16. Low Fat Granola (no raisins) is the bomb. I eat that like it's going out of style. Too bad I'm allergic to almonds. I still eat it anyway. Also, Nature Valley has a good cereal that has chunks of their granola bars in it. I can't remember the name of it right now.
  17. I'd much rather have that problem than miss a game.
  18. Everyone I know who has a TaylorMade R7 is in love with it. If I was serious enough with golf, I would have one in my bag. I agree with the hybrid suggestion. I was never able to hit woods off of the fairway, but hybrids make it just like hitting an iron.
  19. It's better if there is a better hitter than Escobar at 3rd while Hardy is at SS.
  20. I imagine that you are going to pay an American airline somewhere along the way. Possibly buy new luggage or clothing for the trip.
  21. I live in Vegas and can go to Caesar's at lunch. Not a gambler though
  22. To be honest, my dad was pretty lathered up when he told me this. Maybe he meant 83.5. That sounds closer to the truth.
  23. That sounds pretty high to me. If I were a betting man I would take the under. Thoughts?
  24. I'm going to guess that SI took more than one picture and this was the one they liked.
  25. The Cubs know who is who, and they also know who they were trailing in the Central last year for a good portion of the year. The Brewers aren't sneaking up on anybody.
