    I think he's a great owner because he is genuinely a fan first, and doesn't let his ego get in the way of his subordinates. This much can't be said for the owner of the other major sports team in town, and we all see how well that is working out. In addition, he recognizes that sometimes money needs to be spent to upgrade your team. Sometimes being key here. He won't spend frivolously just to spend, and that is a great example of how a small market team should be run. Thank you Mr. Attanasio for buying the Milwaukee Brewers. You have made baseball fun again for the fans.

    Why do we need more runs? Kind of like asking why people need more money. Sure you could just be more frugal, but then you wouldn't have the luxury of being able to go overboard in some situations and still be safe. And this thread is about the lineup. Pitching can go in another thread.

    I'd plan on just taking a cab to and from the park from Downtown. It will take a half hour to 45 minutes TOPS with traffic to and from the game. You'll have plenty of time to make it back to Mitchell by 6, which would be plenty of advance time to catch your flight home. Just make sure to do the obvious things like packing your bags at the hotel before you go to the game in case you run in to an emergency situation. If things go wrong, depending on where you are flying in to out of Milwaukee, (PDX?) You will likely have later flights that they can put you on.

    What Sheff said is that Boras is a bad person. If you know the person, you can say that. If all you know is what someone has done professionally, I think that is a separate criteria. I'm sure everyone knows people who are great business people but not the best human beings and vice versa.
